Flagspætten

Flagspætten is the middle of the 3 cabins, which are located 20 m apart, on slightly staggered levels and slightly rotated in relation to each other to avoid sightlines.

A steel spiral staircase leads from the forest path up to the platform, which runs like a small wooden terrace around the dome. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings in this romantic accommodation four meters high, in the midst of and close to nature. The cabins are located at the edge of a small untouched piece of forest. There is an open view over the fields towards both sunrise and sunset (high summer). When and if the northern lights appear, they can be experienced from the front row. Birds of prey and deer can be seen in the fields around. Squirrels, woodpeckers, and countless songbirds entertain in the forest.

There is access to a covered fire hut and fire pit, which is shared with the site's shelter area. Tripod with fire bowl and grill in the fire hut. A sack of firewood for 60 kr can be purchased upon arrival. (Note! It is not allowed to use any form of grill on the resting places around the domes.)

The cabin is 34 m2 including loft. The dome is fully insulated and can be used year-round. A heat pump/air conditioning is installed, bathroom with shower and kitchen as well as skylight. The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, hot plates, mini oven, kettle, and standard kitchen utensils. The cabin is furnished with a sofa bed, 2 lightweight armchairs, dining table and 4 dining chairs, as well as 2 good box mattresses in the loft. A high chair and a children's travel bed can be purchased, possibly extra bedding on the mattress.

Bedding including towels etc. as well as cleaning are included in the rent. A small breakfast package is also included in the rent (coffee/tea/cocoa, juice, breakfast bread, butter, jam, spreadable cheese, and farm eggs). Regarding other shopping, reference can be made to Dag´li Brugsen in Dalmose, which is located 2 km from the site and is open EVERY day from 7 – 19.

The standard rent includes 2 persons. Three extra persons can be purchased, of which one bedding is on a mattress on the floor. There is no difference between adult and child bedding. There is a good discount scheme for renting the 2nd night, 3rd night, and 4th night. Dogs are NOT allowed in Flagspætten - we refer to Natuglen here.

Public transport: Train connection to Slagelse. Bus connection from Slagelse to Dalmose (some departures also to Hyllested). FODSPORET, which is an asphalted abandoned railway track for bicycles and pedestrians, runs right past Møllegården. It is 2 km from Dalmose to Møllegårdens Trætophytter.
