At the Limfjord south of Aalborg - near Vidkær Å and the Himmerlandske Heder you will find a small pocket of happiness. Friendly hosting, comfort with a sustainable focus and time to enjoy and feel. 

Experience the simple life, feel the pulse of nature and enjoy the tranquility. Here, outdoor life has moved inside the Green Orangery. Do you dream of enjoying the heat from the wood-burning stove with a view of the apple grove? or to put on your hiking boots and explore the Himmerland moors or the Natura 2000 area at Halkær? You can also take binoculars and take a closer look at the wildlife in the river valley.

In the Green Orangery, 2 - 4 people can spend the night close to nature. 

There is room for max. 3 adults and one child. The number of adults can be selected under number of people. An additional child's bed can be selected during purchase. 

Here you can hear the birds whistling, the hedgehogs puzzling and the wind whistling in the treetops or warm yourself by the wood-burning stove like in the old days. Accommodation includes an aperitif on arrival, freshly made beds, air-dried towels and free WiFi, coffee and tea. The beds are old original wooden beds that have been extended to the standard dimensions of the time of 200 x 90 cm. 

When it gets dark outside, you can look up at the sky and count the stars via a small skylight. Sustainable sleep. When you go to rest, you rest in duvets and pillows made from the plant material kapok. This is very hypoallergenic, temperature regulating and organically produced. The bedding is organic linen.

Heating: When you arrive, the wood-burning stove has been fired up - unless it's summer. It is also on the wood stove that you can prepare your food and boil the water for the coffee/tea.  - Firewood (for reasonable consumption) is included.

You also have the option of using the natural grounds, where you will also find the campfire. The water in the toilet building is heated by solar heat.

Handicap-friendly: The orangery with its own toilet and bath is very handicap-friendly - tested by the local disability council. 

Parking space for disabled cars and from there the path goes down to the Green Orangery. NOTE: The path is slightly more than a 5% rise - and is therefore best suited for an electric wheelchair, but can be used by a manual wheelchair with a helper. 

Dogs are allowed in the Green Orangery when 
- The dog does not stay in the beds
- The dog is always on a leash outside
- The dog is never left alone in the room.      

The arrival time is given to the host - preferably the day before arrival.
