Det Grønne Orangeri is located by the Limfjord south of Aalborg - between Nibe and Løgstør with Vidkær Å and the Himmerlandske Heder right outside the door. Here you will find a small pocket of happiness, where you can experience friendly hospitality, comfort with a sustainable focus and time to enjoy and sense.

Do you dream of enjoying the warmth of the wood stove with a view of the apple grove? or putting on your hiking boots and exploring the Himmerlandske Heder or the Natura 2000 area at Halkær?
You can also bring your binoculars and take a closer look at the wildlife in the river valley.

In Det Grønne Orangeri, 2 - 4 people can spend the night very close to nature.
You can order breakfast and have it delivered. You can also order a raw material package for a rather climate-friendly dinner.

Here you can hear the birds chirping, the hedgehogs fidgeting and the wind rustling in the treetops or warm yourself by the wood stove like in the old days. The overnight stay includes a personal welcome upon arrival, freshly made beds, air-dried towels and free WiFi, coffee and tea. The beds are old original wooden beds that have been extended to the standard size of 200 x 90 cm.

When it gets dark outside, you can look up at the sky and count the stars through a skylight. Sustainable sleep. When you go to sleep, you rest in duvets and pillows made from the plant material kapok. This is very hypoallergenic, temperature-regulating and organically produced. The bed linen is organic linen.

Heating: When you arrive, the wood stove is lit - unless it is summer. You can also cook your food and boil the water for coffee/tea on the wood stove.
Firewood (for reasonable consumption) is included.

There is also an electric kettle. You will find an outdoor refrigerator/cellar outside, and you can borrow a cooler bag for that.
It is also possible to use the shared refrigerator/freezer in the glass house/reception.

You will find the minibar in the refrigerator, where you can buy local and organic drinks:
juice, soda, specialty beer, organic wine and apple juice.

We also sell Glerup's wool lining. Order your favorite color upon arrival and have it delivered before departure. We shop locally with the manufacturer.

You have ample opportunity to use the natural plot, where you will also find the campfire site. The water in the toilet building is heated by solar heat.

There is room for a maximum of 3 adults and one child. For two adults, there is room for two children. The number of adults can be selected under the number of people. An extra child's bed can be selected under additional purchase.

Handicap-friendly: The Orangery with its own toilet and shower is very handicap-friendly - tested by the local handicap council.

Parking space for disabled cars and from there the path goes down to the Green Orangery. Note: The path is a little more than 5% incline - and is therefore best suited for electric wheelchairs, but can be used by manual wheelchairs with an assistant.

Dogs are allowed in the Green Orangery when
- The dog does not stay in the beds.
- The dog is always on a leash outside.
- The dog is never left alone in the room.

Arrival time must be informed to the host - preferably the day before arrival.
