Welcome to Rostved and our glamping site
Our glamping site consists of a glamping tent and a dining area. The site is located high on a ridge with views over the forest and town (the town is most visible in winter when there are no leaves on the trees)

In the tent, there is a double bed and 2 folding mattresses, 2 armchairs, cooking equipment for the fire, cutlery, etc., a refrigerator, a kettle, and a gas heater. There is electricity for phone charging at the dining area.

Right outside the tent, there is a dining area with benches, chairs, and tables. The dining area is covered with a sun sail.

There is a fire pit, firewood, and a gas grill.

You can drive up to the site, but you park below the hill.

There is a 20-liter water jug with fresh water, and more can be fetched at the farm below.

Regarding the toilet, there is a DAS about 50 meters from the tent. It is in the old-fashioned way, but with rainwater for handwashing.

You can enter the site from 3:00 PM and are expected to leave the site no later than 12:00 PM.

Upon departure, you wash up and tidy up, sweep the tent, and leave it as you would like to find it yourself.

We are happy to have animals, but since we have deer, hares, and pheasants in the forest, you cannot bring dogs, cats, etc.

Shopping options.
In Rønde, about 3 km from Rostved, there are grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants. Among them are Meny (good for ready-made meals), Rema, 365, and Netto.

You can cycle there, and there is a bike path along the main road between Kolind and Rønde.

Swimming options.
You can go to Nappedam Marina about 6 km away, where there is a bathing jetty and toilet facilities.

Activities on and around the site.
There are several good walks in the area. There is forest, a drained lake, and good hills.

There is grass to play on and a good view to the north. If you are into star observation, it is quite dark here with no light pollution at night.

At Friland near Feldballe - 5 km - there is a very nice restaurant - Moment. It has just received great recognition in an international context.
