Welcome to Rostved and our glamping site
Our glamping site consists of a glamping tent and a dining area. The site is located high on a ridge with a view of the forest and city (the city is mostly visible in winter when there are no leaves on the trees)

In the tent there is a double bed and 2 folding mattresses, 2 armchairs, kitchen equipment for a fire, cutlery etc., fridge, kettle and gas heater. There is electricity for phone charging in the dining area.

Right outside the tent there is a dining area with benches, chairs and tables. The dining area is covered with an awning.

There is a fire pit, firewood and a gas grill.

You can drive up to the site by car, but you park below the hill.

There is a 20 liter water tank with fresh water and more can be picked up at the yard below.

MHT toilet can be found DAS approx. 50 meters from the tent. It's the old-fashioned way, but with rainwater to wash your hands in.

You can enter the site from 15:00 and are expected to leave the site by 12:00 at the latest.

On departure, you wash up and clean up, sweep the tent and leave it as you would like to receive it yourself.

We are fond of animals, but as we have deer, hares and pheasants in the forest, you cannot bring dogs, cats etc.

Purchasing options.
In Rønde, about 3 km from Rostved, there are grocery stores, cafes and restaurants. Here are, among others, Meny (good for ready meals), Rema, 365 and Netto.

You can cycle up there and there is a cycle path along the main road between Kolind and Rønde.

Swimming possibilities.
You can go to Nappedam Yacht Harbor about 6 km, where there is a jetty and toilet facilities.

Activities on and near the square.
There are several good walks in the area. There is forest, a dry lake and good hills.

There is grass to play on and a good view to the north. So if you're into stargazing, it's pretty dark here and there's no light pollution at night.

At Friland by Feldballe - 5 km - there is a very nice restaurant - Moment. it has just received great honors in an international context.

In Vrinners you can visit Andersen Winery, (10 km) which makes really good sparkling wine
