Little Sweden is a small, secluded green oasis surrounded by thatched half-timbered houses in the idyllic village of Herslev - just a short walk from Roskilde Fjord, open fields, and beautiful forest areas. Here you will find a peaceful base where you can relax, get closer to nature, and experience the joy of simple things - like cooking over a fire, waking up to birdsong, or enjoying the sunset over the fjord.

The garden is entirely yours. It is large and lush with many small nooks where you can find your own private spot. There are plenty of opportunities to pitch your own tent if you bring equipment, or you can choose a more comfortable option: we offer both the setup of small tents for extra guests and a spacious glamping tent with a diameter of 4.5 meters, perfect for a cozy nature experience with a bit of extra comfort (bring your own sleeping gear).

Little Sweden is ideal for couples, friends, and small families looking for an authentic nature experience close to beach and village life. From the garden, you can easily take excursions - to Herslev Brewery, Roskilde Cathedral, Sagnlandet in Lejre, or just a dip in the fjord.

Herslev Brewery offers lunch 5 days a week. Christian has his own small production of whisky (www.brinkholmale.dk). Shopping options in Gevninge and Svogerslev.
