Little Sweden is a small, unobtrusive green oasis surrounded by thatched half-timbered houses in the idyllic village of Herslev - just a short walk from Roskilde Fjord, open fields and beautiful woodlands. Here you will find a quiet base where you can relax, get closer to nature and experience the joy of the simple things - like cooking over a campfire, waking up to birdsong or enjoying the sunset over the fjord.

You have the garden all to yourself. It is large and lush with many little nooks where you can find your own private spot. There is ample opportunity to pitch your own tent if you bring your own equipment, or you can choose a more comfortable solution: we offer both setting up small tents for extra guests and a spacious glamping tent of 4.5 meters in diameter, perfect for a cozy nature experience with a little extra comfort (bring your own sleeping equipment).

Little Sweden is ideal for couples, friends and small families looking for an authentic nature experience close to the beach and village life. From the garden you can easily go on excursions - to Herslev Bryghus, Roskilde Cathedral, the Land of Legends in Lejre or just a dip in the fjord.

Organic breakfast is served in the fridge. Herlev Bryghus offers lunch 5 days a week. Christian has his own small production of whiskey (www.brinkholmale.dk). Shopping options in Gevninge and Svogerslev.
