Stay in the heart of Rold Skov – and wake up to birdsong and morning sun.

Glamping in Rold Skov is located on the border between the cozy northern Jutland town of Skørping and one of Denmark's largest forests – Rold Skov. Here you live close to the enchanting Troldeskov and in an area filled with nature experiences.

The property is directly on the Hærvejsruten along Stendalsvej near Skørping. Within a short distance, you will find St. Økssø, Rebild Bakker, and the Cold War Museum REGAN Vest – perfect excursion destinations during your stay.

Here you will sleep:
The tent is completely undisturbed and surrounded by trees, so you can enjoy the peace and nature. There are windows so you can see the stars and a small stove, so you can heat water or cozy up indoors if the weather and temperature allow it.

Inside the tent, you will find a comfortable double bed (180 × 200 cm) with the option for an additional person in a single bed (90 × 200 cm).

A weekend bed can also be provided for children approximately 0–2 years old. The weekend bed comes with a duvet, pillow, bed linen, and mosquito net – the smallest guests are therefore more than welcome.

Here you will relax:
Outside awaits your own wooden terrace with table, benches, parasol, and fire pit. Under the trees, you can relax in the hammock or in the lounge furniture and enjoy the sounds of the forest completely undisturbed.

Farther south, where the property borders the state forest, a small stream runs. Enjoy the sounds from the soft lounge. Here both children and adults can send small sticks and leaves away and follow their journey down the stream.

This is how you handle the food:
You prepare warm food yourself over the fire. Firewood and basic kitchen utensils such as foil, cutting board, knives, and some spices are available. You boil water for coffee over the fire and can warm bread or other items on the grill. The fire includes a grill grate, large/small grill pan, skewers.

This is how you quench your thirst:
Upon arrival, there are two water containers (2 × 10 liters) and a cooler bag with cooling elements ready for you.

There is organic coffee and tea available ad libitum, and water is heated over the fire.

If you want to keep it easy or get extra thirsty, you will also find an extra cooler bag with a minibar containing soft drinks, beer, and wine at reasonable prices (Mobilepay or cash).

Depending on the season, you can pick blueberries in Rebild Bakker, only 1–2 km away. Also visit Unika 9520 in Skørping with local handicrafts or explore the area's history at Vangstedstenen, Røverstuen, and several exciting cultural-historical attractions.

Good to know:
Shower: There is access to an outdoor shower with hot and cold water at our property (about 100 meters from the tent). The outdoor shower may be shared with other guests.

Shopping: 3 grocery stores and (regular) bakery in Skørping (2.5 km). The sourdough baker Bagtanker (really good!) at Skørping Sports Center (2.0 km).

Electricity: The tent is off-grid, so I recommend a power bank for charging phones, etc. There are charging stations for electric cars in Skørping (2.5 km).

Toilet facilities: Well-functioning separation toilet close to the tent. Sanitizer and water for flushing + handwashing available.
