Camp Fasanen - Glamping hos Bakkegaarden

At Bakkegaardens glamping you will have a unique glamping experience by our own private lake, where you can swim and fish. Here you go to bed to starry nights and magical moments by the fire, and wake up to birdsong and a lake view. You can experience nature and wildlife up close while you relax and enjoy each other's company. The lake is private, and there is only access for you and our guests, so you will experience a very special peace and nature experiences with a large area just for you.

A delicious homemade breakfast brunch with homemade buns, pancakes, homemade jam and juice, fruit and vegetables from our vegetable garden, cheese, sausage and more is included as well as a box of firewood during your stay.

It is possible to have a vegetarian breakfast and, for example, in case of allergies, a delicious omelet with fruit and vegetables. 
Dinner (campfire pot) can be purchased.

You will stay in Camp Fasanen, which is located on its own with trees around it and a lake view. The tent is furnished with a double bed (140x200), table and seating area as well as various furnishings with everything you need, such as dishes, extra blankets etc. It is possible to make two extra beds with mattresses. The tent is made of a material that ensures that the indoor climate is always pleasant without being too hot or humid.

You have access to a toilet and an outdoor kitchen with water, where you will find the necessary things to prepare food over a fire or a gas burner. There is a cool box. It is possible to bathe outdoors with a "camp shower", where the sun has heated the water.

There is a hammock where you can enjoy the silence under the shade of the trees and the view of the lake.

You have your own private area with a fire pit, sun sail and table/bench set.

Solar cells have been installed to illuminate the tent, toilet and outdoor kitchen as well as LED battery lamps.

It is possible, for a fee, to fish in the lake, where perch and trout can be found. Equipment can also be rented. For adults, it is also possible to take a cool dip in the lake (a child-friendly lake is 7 minutes' drive away).

When you arrive, park at the farm. Here you will be given a trailer to transport your luggage on. It is about 450 m to the lake, and on the walk up there, you will get into gear and experience the nature and the area that opens up to you.

In the morning, you will pick up your breakfast, and if you want, you can boil water for campfire coffee/tea yourself. Breakfast consists of, among other things, homemade buns with delicacies from our own vegetable garden and local products. 

We have three glamping tents by the lake and a small holiday apartment on the farm. 

Children under 2 years old are free in their parents' bed. It is not possible/allowed to bring a baby bed. If you need a baby bed, you must book Camp Ræven, where a baby bed can be rented.

The area is known for its beautiful areas, hiking and cycling routes and churches. We are centrally located on Zealand, and it is about 1 hour to Copenhagen, Odense and Malmö. About 15 minutes drive from here you will find Denmark's largest outlet city, as well as exciting culture and history.

Along the roads you can experience horses, cows, rolling fields and small roadside stalls where you can buy local delicacies.
