At Bakkegaarden's glamping, you get a unique glamping experience by our own private lake, where you can both swim and fish. Here you can enjoy the evenings by the campfire and the starry sky, and wake up to the sound of birds and a lake view. You can experience nature and wildlife up close while relaxing and enjoying each other's company. The lake is private, and access is only for you and our guests, so you will experience a special tranquility and nature experiences with a large area just for you.

Delicious homemade breakfast brunch with local ingredients is included, along with a box of firewood during your stay. Campfire food can be purchased additionally.

You will stay at Camp Rådyret, which is the camp where you have it all to yourselves. Here you have a view of fields on one side and the lake on the other. You have your own little outdoor kitchen by the tent. This spot is for those of you who don't mind walking a few minutes longer on nature trails, in exchange for having a completely unique spot just for yourselves, perfect for those who want a romantic getaway or a friends' trip in nature with peace and quiet.

The tent is furnished with a double bed (140x200), a table and seating area, as well as various furnishings with everything you need, such as dishes, extra blankets, etc. Right down by the lake, there is a small pavilion with campfire equipment, firewood, a cooler, and a fire pit, which you have all to yourselves. Here you can make a fire, enjoy the view, and nature.

The tent is made of a material that ensures the indoor climate is always pleasant without being too hot or humid.

You have access to a toilet and another outdoor kitchen with water, where you will find several items for preparing food over the campfire or gas stove. It is possible to bathe outdoors with a "camp shower," where the sun has warmed the water.

You can fish in the lake for a fee, where there are perch and trout, or take a refreshing dip.

Solar panels have been installed to light up the tent, toilet, and outdoor kitchen, as well as LED battery lamps.

When you arrive, you park at the farm. Here you will be given a cart to transport your luggage. It is about 450 m to the camp, and on the walk there, you will slow down and experience the nature and area that opens up to you. From here, you will need to walk a few extra minutes on a nature trail around the lake to reach your camp. It is located about 150 meters from the other tents.

In the morning, you pick up your breakfast, and if you wish, you can boil water for campfire coffee/tea. The breakfast consists of homemade rolls with delicacies from our own kitchen garden and local products. Breakfast can be offered as vegetarian or, for example, in case of allergies, as a delicious omelet with fruits and vegetables. Write to us in advance if this is desired.

We have three glamping tents by the lake and a small holiday apartment at the farm.

The area is known for its beautiful landscapes, hiking and cycling routes, and churches. We are centrally located in Zealand, and it takes about 1 hour to reach Copenhagen, Odense, and Malmö. About 15 minutes' drive from here, you will find Denmark's largest outlet city, as well as exciting culture and history.

Along the roads, you can experience horses, cows, rolling fields, and small roadside stalls where you can buy local delicacies.
