Camp Rådyret - Glamping hos Bakkegaarden

At Bakkegaardens glamping you will have a unique glamping experience by our own private lake, where you can both swim and fish. Here you can enjoy the evenings by the fire and the starry sky, and wake up to birdsong and a lake view. You can experience nature and wildlife up close while you relax and enjoy each other's company. The lake is private, and there is only access for you and our guests, so you will experience a very special peace and nature experiences with a large area just for you.

A delicious homemade breakfast brunch with local ingredients, and a box of firewood are included in the stay. Bonfire food can be purchased.

You will stay at Camp Rådyret, which is the camp where you have it all to yourself. Here you have a view of fields on one side and the lake on the other side. You have your own small outdoor kitchen by the tent. This space is for those of you who don't mind walking a few minutes further along nature trails, in return for a completely unique space for yourself, perfect for those of you who want a romantic getaway or a friend's trip in nature with peace and quiet. 

The tent is furnished with a double bed (140x200), table and seating area as well as various furnishings with everything you need, such as dishes, extra blankets, etc. Right down by the lake there is a small pavilion with campfire equipment, firewood, a cooler and a campfire area, which you have all to yourself. Here you can make a campfire, enjoy the view and nature. 

The tent is made of a material that makes the indoor climate always nice without being too hot or humid. 

You have access to a toilet and another outdoor kitchen with water, where you will find several things to prepare food over a campfire or gas burner. It is possible to bathe outdoors with a "camp shower", where the sun has heated the water. 

For a fee, you can fish in the lake, where there are perch and trout, or take a cool dip.

Solar cells have been installed to illuminate the tent, toilet and outdoor kitchen, as well as LED battery lamps.

When you arrive, park in the yard. Here you will be given a tow truck to transport your luggage on. It is about 450 m up to the camp, and on the walk up there, you will get into gear and experience the nature and the area that opens up to you. From here, you will walk a few more minutes on the nature trail around the lake to your camp. It is located about 150 meters from the other tents.

In the morning, you will pick up your breakfast, and if you want, you can boil water for campfire coffee/tea yourself. Breakfast consists of, among other things, homemade buns with delicacies from our own kitchen garden and local products. Breakfast can be offered as vegetarian or, for example, in the case of allergies, as a delicious omelet with fruit and vegetables. Write to us in advance if this is desired.

We have three glamping tents by the lake and a small holiday apartment on the farm.

The area is known for its beautiful areas, hiking and cycling routes and churches. We are centrally located on Zealand, and it is about 1 hour to Copenhagen, Odense and Malmö. About 15 minutes drive from here you will find Denmark's largest outlet city, as well as exciting culture and history.

Along the roads you can experience horses, cows, rolling fields and small roadside stalls where you can buy local delicacies.
