Wake up to the fantastic view of the lake at Camp Aborren
Out on the water lies Camp Aborren, a glamping experience like no other – only 1 hour's drive from Copenhagen and Odense
Here you have the most fantastic view of the lake, and you will experience that it is more than just an overnight stay with a view – it is an experience where you find yourself in the middle of nature and become a part of it, where you are very close when the fish jump, the cuckoo flies over you in the evening, and the sun's rays shimmer on the water's surface.
You access the platform where Camp Aborren is located via a small walkway. It is securely anchored, and there is no need to fear seasickness.
Inside the tent, you will find a comfortable bed made and ready for you. The tent can be fully opened so you can lie and enjoy the view over the water from the bed – or sit on the terrace in front.
On land, you have your own private covered area with an outdoor kitchen, side area, and fire pit. Here you will find basic kitchen items; wine glasses, glasses, dishes, cutlery, bowls, cutting boards, pots and pans, pancake pans, kitchen utensils, salt/pepper, etc., as well as a cooler that functions as a refrigerator.
In our large private nature area, you will experience peace, presence, and nature. In addition to your Camp, we have three other Camps, which are spaced out with plenty of space between them, and there is no access for others.
Our guests report that they have the experience of being alone in nature.

The tents are not heated, so we have provided extra blankets and hot water bottles for you for the night. Remember warm clothing, preferably layers.
There is no electricity at the site - the tents are lit by solar-powered fairy lights and LED lamps. Remember to charge your phone at home - it can also be charged at the farm if needed.
We have a great love for nature and want to take responsibility. Therefore, we have developed a sustainability strategy, which can be read in all the tents, and you will also feel that this is a nature stay with consideration for nature.
NOTE: The tent is only intended for 2 people - and not small children.

We are a small family running Bakkegaarden together, and we value personal hosting highly. We look forward to welcoming you personally to our large privately owned nature area, which also has its own fishing and bathing lake. We grow our own fruits and vegetables in our kitchen garden and get eggs from our own hens and meat from our grass-fed rabbits that live on the farm. We support our local community by shopping locally and finding our partners locally whenever possible. We also support the local association life with a number of membership evenings. We love our nature, and we are happy to share it with you! We hope that as many as possible can get out into nature and have a fantastic experience. If you have special needs, please contact us in advance so we can align expectations for a good experience.
