Wake up to the fantastic view of the lake at Camp Aborren 

Out on the water lies Camp Aborren, a glamping experience like no other – just 1 hour’s drive from Copenhagen and Odense

Here you have the most fantastic view of the lake, and you will find that it is more than just an overnight stay with a view – it is an experience where you are in the middle of nature and become a part of it, where you are very close when the fish jump, the cuckoo flies over you in the evening and the sun’s rays sparkle on the water surface. 

You go out to the platform where Camp Aborren is via a small walkway. It is securely anchored, and you don’t have to worry about getting seasick. 

Inside the tent you will find a comfortable bed that is made up and ready for you. The tent can be opened all the way up, so you can lie down and enjoy the view of the water from the bed – or sit on the terrace in front. 

On land you have your own private covered area with an outdoor kitchen, side area and fire pit. Here you will find basic kitchen items; wine glasses, glasses, tableware, cutlery, bowls, cutting boards, pots and pans, pancake pans, kitchenware, salt/pepper etc. as well as a cooler that functions as a refrigerator.

In our large private nature area you will experience peace, presence and nature. In addition to your Camp, we have three other Camps, which are distributed with plenty of space between each other, and there is no access for others. 
Our guests say that they have the experience of being alone in nature.

Included in the stay 

Homemade breakfast brunch - coffee to make 1 small plunger for breakfast is included 
1 x box of firewood.

You can pick up your breakfast at our farm in the morning, when the freshly baked buns have just come out of the oven

You are also always welcome to enjoy the country idyll and tranquility in our courtyard, where the budgies sing in their large aviary, the hollyhocks bloom and our rabbit Preben loves to be cuddled.

When you arrive, park in our courtyard. Here you will be welcomed and given a tow truck for your luggage. There is approx. 500 m of gravel road up to the lake. 

There are many opportunities to explore nature in the area. We are close to Åmosen Nature Park and the Istidsruten route as well as many lakes and adventure trails. 

We hear from our guests that they wish they had booked an extra day. Therefore, we recommend that you book two days (or more) to get the best experience, to get down to business, relax and let your shoulders drop – and experience the unique opportunity for silent luxury and digital detox.

The tents are not heated, so we have provided extra blankets and hot water bottles for you for the night. Remember to wear warm clothes, preferably in layers. 

There is no electricity on the site - the tents are lit by solar light chains and LED lamps. Remember to charge your mobile phone from home - it can also be charged on the farm if the accident occurs.

We have a great love for nature, and want to take responsibility. That is why we have prepared a sustainability strategy, which can be read in all the tents, and you will also notice that this is a nature stay with consideration for nature.
