Cirkus Benneweis’ billetvogn
Cabin · 2 guests
Spend the night in the unique ticket wagon that was previously owned by Circus Benneweis. If you have been to Circus Benneweis, you are guaranteed to have bought your ticket at the ticket booth. We have preserved the circus wagon as original as possible. The wagon is divided into 3 rooms: bedroom, living room and kitchen. There is a 3/4 bed in the bedroom. From the bedroom you can open the doors to a small raised terrace. In the kitchen you can cook on a small gas stove. There is a possibility of cold water in the tap in the kitchen, if you yourself fetch the water from the tap outside the toilet house. If you prefer to cook over a fire, it is also possible, but here you must share the fire with any guests in the glamping tent. There is light and electricity in the circus wagon, but there is no heat source other than blankets and duvets. It is recommended to bring home-made socks. In the welcome cabin you will find a small refrigerator that you must share with any guests. guests in the glamping tent. The toilet is in the small red house about 60 m from the circus trailer. Here there is also an outdoor shower with a little hot water (10 L, then only cold water) It is possible to drive along a small field road to a parking lot about 100 m from the circus trailer. You will stay inside a small forest in a very scenic area, where there is a lot of wildlife. There is a small marked route around the forest with small quirks along the way. A 10-minute walk from the circus trailer, you will find Klosterheden, which is Denmark's largest plantation. Here there are a lot of marked routes for both walking and mountain biking. Likewise, if you are lucky, you can see beavers out there and in many places you can see how the beavers build dams and are diligent in felling trees. In Struer about 10 km from here there is a lively harbor environment with both water sports and delicious restaurants, for every budget. There are many beaches within a short driving distance, which you can choose from depending on the wind direction (Toftum, Remmerstrand, Bremdal, Kleppen). The southernmost island of the Limfjord, Venø, is definitely worth a visit. Here you will find Denmark's smallest church, beautiful hikes, restaurants (Venø herb garden and Venø inn), delicious beaches and an incredible number of deer and pheasants.
