Here you will be able to drink your morning coffee with a fantastic view of Lake Hammervatnet, enjoy a good meal with products from our own farm shop on the fire pit, end the evening with a hot bath in the stomp on the terrace and sleep on delicious mattresses from Jensen. 

GapaLux is built of solid logs, much of the wood is sourced from our own forest. Here you live in a specially built gapa hut where the mountain is a natural part of the construction – raw, real and elegant. Wood, stone and views create a sensual experience, while modern facilities such as Wi-Fi, comfortable beds and a hot tub ensure that your stay is both practical and pleasant. The entire front can be opened with folding doors, so that indoor and outdoor spaces merge together. 

The cabin can accommodate up to 7 people, divided into four different sleeping alcoves. Arrive to beds already made up with delicious down duvets and bedding - here you just have to crawl straight into bed. 

Do you want an extra pleasant experience? Join us on a barn visit. Pick fresh eggs and meet our farm animals - a great little activity for both young and old. On request and for an additional fee, we can also deliver a breakfast basket with delicious, local foods - both from our farm and the surrounding area. A perfect start to the day.
