Designed for families, small groups, retreats and creative gatherings, it comfortably sleeps up to six guests and can also transform into a beautiful communal space for yoga, workshops, ceremonies and shared meals.

Eden Baths is an emerging eco-retreat and glamping sanctuary on the island of Averøy, near Norway's Atlantic Road. Set between forest and sea, the property offers handcrafted accommodation, ocean views, shared outdoor facilities and access to nearby bathing spots. Inspired by Nordic bathing culture, slow living and nature connection, it provides a unique coastal experience rooted in wellbeing, sustainability and the rhythms of the surrounding landscape. Seasonal sauna rituals, bathing experiences and botanical wellness sessions may also be available during your stay.

Guests have access to their private glamping tent and a range of shared outdoor facilities, including a fire pit and BBQ area, hammocks, outdoor seating spaces, an outdoor kitchen and fridge, and our handcrafted wooden outdoor showers. Clean and well-maintained ecological compost toilets are serviced daily. Guests are welcome to relax by the sea views, explore the surrounding forest, unwind in the hammocks, and enjoy access to nearby sea bathing spots and coastal paths throughout the property.

Eden Baths is a living project that continues to evolve with care for the surrounding landscape and ecology. Limited Wi-Fi is available in communal areas, allowing guests to stay connected while enjoying a slower pace of life.

Eden Baths is located on the beautiful island of Averøy, surrounded by coastal landscapes, sea views, rocky shores, forests, and quiet Nordic nature. Guests can enjoy sea bathing, hiking, fishing, sunsets, and peaceful off-grid surroundings directly from the property. The area is close to the famous Atlantic Ocean Road (Atlanterhavsveien), the white sand beaches of Hustadvika, scenic coastal trails, and traditional fishing villages. The marble caves and waterfalls of Trollkirka are also reachable as a day trip for guests wishing to explore more of the region’s dramatic nature. Molde, known for its panoramic mountain views and fjord landscape, is around 1.5 hours away, while Ålesund and the Sunnmøre Alps can also be visited within a longer day trip from Eden Baths. Kristiansund town is within driving distance and offers restaurants, cafés, museums, cultural events, and ferry connections.
