Welcome to Sauva – the very definition of a hidden gem in the forest at Ettestad in Drangedal.

There is no electricity, water or hustle and bustle here – but in return there is silence, birdsong and real contact with nature. The cabin is newly renovated, stylishly furnished and surrounded by forest and water. Large windows let nature in completely, creating a warm atmosphere that invites peace and presence.

Start the day with yoga on the terrace or down on the pier – mats are ready under the bed. Or get in the canoe for a quiet morning trip on the water. The area also offers great cycling opportunities, summit hikes and cozy forest trails right outside the door. When you want to explore more, both Gautefallheia and Kragerø are within a short driving distance, with everything from mountains to coastal idylls.

The cabin has a large double bed and an extra bed, and is best suited for two adults and two children. It is equipped with a gas stove, gas refrigerator, simple solution for water and solar lighting inside and outside. On the pier you will find canoes and dinghies (life jackets and oars are included). Parking is right next to the cabin.
