This treehouse has sleeping space for four. The cabin has a bathroom with underfloor heating, shower, and toilet. The living room contains a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, and wood stove. There is also a dining table and a bench that can be pulled out to a double bed. On the veranda, there is space for four people, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. A large deck with a wood-fired hot tub, fire pit, and comfortable chairs - perfect for enjoying an evening in nature.

Ståle and Marit own and operate LAUV Treehouses. The couple lives on the farm located a couple of hundred meters from the treehouses. The farm is surrounded by beautiful nature and great hiking areas, a place that truly provides peace of mind and the feeling of being one with nature.

The treehouses are perfect for a romantic getaway, a trip with friends, or family. The cabins are new in 2024 and maintain a high standard with amenities such as electricity, underfloor heating, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and bathroom with toilet and shower. We offer food service and guided tours in the local area. With LAUV Treehouses as your base, you can experience nature in all its glory. Whether on foot, skis, or snowshoes. In winter, ski trails are groomed right outside the cabins. LAUV Treehouses is a short drive from Oslo.

It is about 250 meters to walk from the parking lot to the cabin. The first meters are up a gravel road, before you walk the last bit across the field. In winter, you can walk on skis, snowshoes, or on foot. Enjoy the beautiful nature, and feel the good feeling of arriving at the unique treehouse Knausen. If desired, we can help transport luggage to the cabin.

If you wish to borrow snowshoes from the parking lot, the number and gender/size must be specified in the booking or sent by email later.

Bedding, towels, coffee, tea, salt, and pepper are included in the price.
