Stay in a bright and delicate prairie wagon, just a few meters from the water. The prairie wagon has a comfortable double bed and a large window that lets you wake up to a view straight out to the sea. The balcony faces the evening sun, and around you horses graze in the open landscape. The stay can be combined with a ride in a western saddle. 

This is a perfect accommodation for two who want something very special - a taste of the Wild West, combined with modern comfort. The wagon has a luxurious feel, with a historic cowboy feel. 

The prairie wagon is located on the peninsula of Basnes by Mjermen. I don't think we're exaggerating when we say that Basnes is one of the most beautiful places in eastern Norway. Basnes is a living small farm with lots of horses. The farmyard itself is pleasant and consists of cozy houses and barns. The buildings are built in an old Norwegian farmhouse style combined with a rough western/ranch feel. 

The prairie wagon is located by itself by the water, a short walk from the farmyard with no view other than from the lake. The area is fenced and you have it all to yourself. Parking is in the yard. 

The Prairievogne has its own fire pit and double propane burner for cooking. Simple outdoor kitchen equipped with frying pan, pots, cups and tubs. Solar lamp and candles for lighting.
With us you will get made beds and clean towels. 
In the barn you will find a toilet and shower with hot water. about 70 meters walk from the Prairievogne. 

The sandy beach is about 50 meters from the Prairievogne, perfect for swimming and sunbathing.

Best of all, you don't have to wash or take off your bedding after you. We'll take care of that!
