Here you will find a mix of history, culture and nature that gives a sense of peace. You can enjoy the peace and quiet in an exclusive arctic dome, a unique accommodation located next to a historic farmyard. 15 minutes from the E6 in Grong municipality and only a short detour from the coastal road, making this a perfect place to stop if you are driving the E6 or the coastal road (F17) through Trøndelag. Here you rent the entire place, are completely alone, close to nature and clean air. One of Namdalen's hidden gems.

It is about 1.5 km to walk from the parking lot in the summer, with some uphill since the dome is located at the foot of Skarlandsfjellet. We offer a ride up to the dome by ATV for those who wish. There is no self-check-in. We hand over the keys in person or arrange another way to pick up the keys. In winter, it is 2.5 km to go skiing or snowshoeing. From January to March we offer winter glamping, where transport and training in using the space are included in the price.

The dome is heated with a wood stove and a gas stove, so it takes a while for the dome to warm up. It is therefore recommended to bring some extra clothes to wear upon arrival, especially in winter. There is no running water here, but there is plenty of water in the stream. Included in the rent is a 5 liter canister of clean drinking water. There is no electricity, so from August to May it is a good idea to bring a flashlight or headlamp. Solar-powered light sources are located inside the seat dome. Outside the dome there is a nice seating area with access to a fire pan. Firewood and kindling are laid out inside the dome. Refills of firewood can be collected from the seat barn.

We have installed an incineration toilet in one of the buildings, and if the need is great, you have the opportunity to take a shower in the seat shower. This is a simple outdoor shower, but it works well for its purpose.

In the sitting barn you have access to a small kitchenette with a gas refrigerator and two gas hobs. This can be used for cooking, and is used to heat the water needed for the outdoor shower. Here you will also find the barn suite with two single beds which can be booked if there are more than two of you going on a trip.
