With us you get close to nature and small birds while staying comfortably up in the treetops. 

We want you to be able to take a breather, experience the peace and quiet under the treetops, in the flames of the fire or in the crackling of the wood stove. Here you can make coffee and grill in the fire pan on the terrace, walk along the water, cycle on the forest road, take a mountain hike, stroll to the gapahuken to fry pancakes and make coffee, canoe, row a rowboat, fish, swim in fresh water. The sea is 10 minutes away by car, with the most beautiful sunsets over the Folla sea. 

If it's sunny, you'll find books and games for the whole family on the bookshelf. You can gather around the table for a game of yatzy, or let the kids play in the loft. Make yourself comfortable, watch the flames in the wood stove, the small birds outside the windows, read a newspaper or the book you've been looking forward to. 

Himmelhøy is located 30 km northwest of Namsos along RV 769, the outermost part of Kystriksveien. The treetop cabin has everything you need for a safe and comfortable stay among the treetops. The cabin is winter-insulated and has sleeping accommodations for 6 people, a bedroom with a double bed, and 4 sleeping accommodations in the loft. Heating is by a wood stove and there is 12v solar power for lighting and charging mobile phones. The kitchen has a gas stove and a small gas refrigerator, and the dishes and equipment you need for cooking. There is water from a tank in the loft for washing up and cooking. We will put fresh drinking water in the cabin until you arrive. Toilets are both inside the cabin and in the shed in the parking lot. Mobile coverage is limited, but you can send and receive messages.

You can walk around the entire cabin on the terrace and enjoy the view of the mountains and water. There are benches and tables so you can sit outside to eat, and chairs where you can sit with your morning coffee with the little birds. 

Bring your girlfriend, family or friends - or come alone. Take a break, high above everyday life.
