Himmelhøy - tretopphytte midt i naturen

With us you get close to nature and small birds while staying comfortably up in the treetops. 

Himmelhøy is located 30 km northwest of Namsos along RV 769, the end of Kystriksveien. The treetop cabin has everything you need for a safe and comfortable stay among the treetops for up to 6 people. 

We want you to experience the peace and quiet under the treetops, in the flames of the fire or in the crackling of the wood stove. 

Bring your girlfriend, family or friends - or come alone. Take a break, high above everyday life.

Things to do: 

Here you can cook in the fire pan on the terrace, walk along the water to the gapahuken to fry pancakes and make coffee, cycle on the forest road, paddle a canoe, row a rowboat, try your luck at fishing, take a summit hike, swim in fresh water. 

Rowing boat and canoe are included in the rent (available May-October), including life jackets and fishing equipment.

The sea is 10 minutes away by car, with the most beautiful sunsets over the Folla sea area. The island of Jøa with Jøatrappa and nice restaurants are 30 minutes away by car/ferry. 

If it's sunny, you'll find games for the whole family in the bookshelf. You can gather around the table for a game of Yatzy, or let the kids play in the loft. Make yourself comfortable, watch the flames in the wood stove, the birds outside the windows, read a newspaper or the book you've been looking forward to. 

Facts about the treetop cabin:
On the terrace you can walk around the entire cabin and enjoy the view of the mountains and water. There are benches and tables so you can sit outside to eat, and chairs where you can sit with your morning coffee together with the birds. 

The cabin is winter-insulated and has sleeping accommodations for 6 people: a bedroom with a double bed and 4 sleeping accommodations in the loft. The kitchen has a gas stove and a small gas refrigerator, and the dishes and equipment you need to cook. There is water from a tank in the loft for washing dishes and cooking. We will put fresh drinking water in the cabin until you arrive. 

Heating is by a wood stove and there is 12v solar power for lighting and charging mobile phones. Toilets are both inside the cabin and in the shed in the parking lot. Mobile coverage is limited, but you can send and receive messages.
