The farmstead consists of five charming log buildings, all over 150 years old, located near the beautiful Follsjø.
In the summer, the area is characterized by blooming meadows and grazing animals, creating a peaceful atmosphere for quality time with family and friends. Enjoy amenities such as a barbecue area, board games, and a shared kitchen with cooking facilities. For those who wish to relax, there is also a sauna and a campfire area available.
We offer comfortable facilities with duvets and pillows, as well as hot water and electricity. Even though we are surrounded by nature, the area has 4G coverage, so you can stay connected with the outside world if you wish.

We live on a farm that has been in the family since the 16th century, and are happy to share stories, travel tips and a good laugh. What a truly fantastic place in the Telemark area! We had two overnight stays at Bolkesjø Gaard, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Everything around the place exudes tranquility, coziness, and pure relaxation - not to mention the fantastic nature!! 🏞️ We can only give our warmest recommendations and we are already incredibly excited to come back again!❤️
