Rustic Cabin by the Water

Discover the rustic charm of our cabin from 1860, located in a remote area near Stall Gislesjø. Here you can experience fantastic views and have a true nature experience. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful hiking terrain, and just a short walk away, you will find a private bathing area with a beach, perfect for families looking to enjoy peaceful days by the water.

With space for six people, the cabin is also pet-friendly, so the whole family, including the four-legged members, can have a memorable vacation. Inside the cabin, you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay, including electricity and wifi, as well as a well-equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and grill for cooking (dishes and cutlery included). In the evening, you can gather around the fire pit to stargaze or play board games inside the cabin. For longer stays, we are happy to assist with laundry (laundry facilities available).

Our riding center offers opportunities for horseback riding for much of the year, and you can walk around the farm to meet horses, chickens, and cats. If you desire a bit of city life, both Skien, Porsgrunn, and Bamble are only 20 minutes away by car. Whether you seek relaxation by the water, an active vacation with outdoor activities, or a safe and family-friendly experience, this cabin is the ideal place. We invite you to experience a unique stay filled with tranquility, nature, and unforgettable moments.
