Rustic log cabin by the water

Discover the rustic charm of our 1860 cottage, located in a remote area near Stall Gislesjø. Here you can experience stunning views and get a real nature experience. The cottage is surrounded by great hiking terrain, and just a short walk away you will find a private swimming area with a beach, perfect for families who want to enjoy quiet days by the water.

With space for six people, the cottage is also pet-friendly, so the whole family, including the four-legged friends, can have a memorable holiday. Inside the cottage you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay, including electricity and wifi, as well as a well-equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and grill for cooking (dishes and cutlery included). In the evenings, you can gather around the campfire to watch the stars or play board games inside the cottage. For longer stays, we can assist with laundry (laundry facilities available).

Our riding center offers opportunities for horseback riding most of the year, and you can wander around the farm to meet horses, chickens and cats. If you want a bit of city life, Skien, Porsgrunn and Bamble are only 20 minutes away by car. Whether you are looking for relaxation near the water, an active holiday with outdoor activities, or a safe and family-friendly experience, this cabin is the ideal place.
