Enjoy the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere in the Birdbox on Langeland. Here you sleep close to nature and its fantastic surroundings. Lie down and look at the spectacular mountains rising in the landscape around you, and experience the silence and proximity to nature.
In winter, you can put on skis and enjoy the fantastic ski trails that surround the Birdbox. The ski trails go through easy terrain with gentle inclines, providing good conditions for nice trips in the area. When summer comes, it’s nice to walk on the same ski trails. In the summer months, you can also hike down to Langelandsvatnet and enjoy a refreshing swim in freshwater.
It takes about 30 minutes to walk from the parking lot at the ski center up to the Birdbox. We usually accompany all our guests up to the Birdbox. The journey goes through the ski trails from Langeland ski center, which is located in easy terrain with gentle inclines.
Some of the unique landmarks around the Birdbox are Storehesten, Lillehesten, Hafstadfjellet, Langelandvatnet, and Langeland ski resort.
