Have you ever wondered what it's like to sleep like a bird in a cozy nest? With us, you can try just that.

The Birdhouse Cabin is anything but a primitive nest. Here, you will find tranquility in front of the fireplace, in the sunken bathtub, or perhaps sitting in the round window with a panoramic view of the fjord.

The Birdhouse Cabin has three sleeping areas accommodating six people in three lovely Norwegian-produced double beds for maximum comfort. Here, you can choose to sleep with a view of the fjord, look straight into the wildlife in the forest, or sleep among the treetops under the starry sky in the nest at the top.

With us, the idea is that you can just bring someone you care about and unwind.

The unique accommodation has all the amenities. The kitchen is equipped with a stovetop, microwave/oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher, as well as all cups, pots, plates, and cutlery. On the shelf, local roasted coffee from the other side of the fjord awaits you, along with a selection of tea.

The bathroom is equipped with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and towels. Here you will also find soft bathrobes to wander around in. The beds are made up when you arrive. Duvets and pillows consist of allergy-friendly Norwegian down.

Breakfast is included. For breakfast, a local food basket with world-class ingredients from the food basket Trøndelag is delivered to your door at the agreed time.

The cabin is located on a field islet on the farm Vestigården, which cultivates grain. Only a field separates the cabin from Borgenfjorden and the view of Den Gyldne Omvei in Inderøy. There are several great accessible hiking trails and cycling routes in the area. You can read more about them in the cabin book.

The cabin is architect-designed by Rallar Arkitekter from Trondheim. It is constructed from solid Norwegian wood from Steinkjer by Arkitre in Verdal. The interior has been contributed by Studio Strek from Inderøy. We are proud of the use of sustainable and locally sourced materials and producers. And the round window sill you can lie in is unique, as it has been designed by the hosts themselves.

From the parking lot down to the Birdhouse Cabin, it only takes a minute to walk, but the cabin is not suitable for those who have difficulty walking as there are some steep stairs.

You can order so that lunch, dinner, or evening snacks are ready in the refrigerator upon arrival.

The cabin is rented as a unit, regardless of whether you are two people or six people. We offer two, three, and four nights at a better price - breakfast delivery is included every day.
