Great Location
The cabin is just a short walk from an associated beach with a pier, perfect for relaxation and swimming on warm days. There is beautiful morning sun, which you can enjoy from the terrace or through the large windows. Additionally, there are many great hiking opportunities in the area, with scenic trails suitable for both mountain and forest hikes. Spring and autumn are especially nice for exploring nature. In winter, it is only 30 minutes to Gautefall ski center and cross-country trails, which offer great opportunities for skiing.
Comfortable Stay
The cabin is heated upon arrival. With underfloor heating, a fireplace, and a heat pump, the cabin is comfortable year-round. It is well equipped with modern amenities such as a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and internet. For those who need to combine vacation with work, there is an office corner with a PC monitor, keyboard, and mouse available. Outside on the terrace, you will find a Weber charcoal grill ready for use – feel free to bring charcoal and prepare delicious meals outdoors. After your stay, we take care of the cleaning, so you can enjoy your stay until the last moment.
Activities All Year Round
In summer, you can borrow SUP boards and explore the lake, or enjoy the many beautiful beaches in the area. We also lend out two adult bikes by arrangement. The cabin area has a playground with a trampoline and ball pit, which is popular among children. There is an option to rent a boat (see pictures) to experience Lake Nisser from the water; send a request if this is of interest to you. In winter, you can borrow several sleds. Gautefall ski center is only 30 minutes away with great opportunities for downhill skiing and cross-country skiing. No matter the season, there is always something to do, whether you want to be active or just relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Private and Quiet
Even though the cabin is located in a cabin area, it is well shielded from neighbors, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful and private vacation.
Pet Policy
Dogs are welcome and must be mentioned when booking. To maintain the quality of the cabin, dogs are not allowed on furniture and beds. The dog must also be supervised at all times and must not be left alone in the cabin.

- 3 min. or a short walk to Nisser cabin village and camping, which has a summer-open kiosk/store, boat, canoe, kayak, and jet ski rentals.
- 15 min. to Fjone ferry (Norway's smallest cable ferry)
- 15 min. to Treungen center, with two grocery stores, interior shops, building shop, Z-museum, water trampolines, charging stations, and gas station.
- 30 min. to Gautefall ski center and groomed cross-country trails.
- 30 min. to the famous climbing mountain and summit hike Hægefjell.
- 45 min. to Kjyrkjebygdheia 30 min. using the Fjone ferry. (hiking trails, cross-country trails, and downhill skiing (weather permitting))
- 50 min. to Fyresdal and Hamaren Activity Park (over the mountain)
- 50 min. to the Jettegrytene in Nissedal
- 1 h. to Vrådal, 45 minutes using the Fjone ferry (ski center and cross-country trails, as well as a great golf course)
- 1 h. to Kviteseid (with Fjone ferry) - take a trip on the Telemark Canal and experience river sailing and locks.

Bedroom 3 has a bunk bed and "bed drawer" (80x200)
Additionally, there is a travel cot for small children, with an extra mattress. This must be set up if needed.
