Konglehytta - mini cabin with extra luxury
Do you want a romantic stay with your loved one or some quality family time with someone you love? Then the adventurous Kongehytta is perfect for you. Here you live in nature, but are still very close to city life and a number of attractions and activities.
The cabins have beautiful views of Mjøsa with a small but luxurious cabin that offers everything you need and then some. The cabins are smart and luxuriously furnished with a lovely, ready-made double bed, quality products and a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, including a completely private sauna as the icing on the cake. On the terrace outside the cabin, you get the feeling of freedom with a large open space with a view, without visibility from other cabins. The cabins are of Nordic quality, for comfort all year round.
What is a pine cone cabin?
Igloo cabins or Igluhut are handmade glamping pods produced in Estonia. The name comes from the fact that the cabins resemble a side-lying pine cone and are built for precisely this, to blend into nature. The cabins are made of natural materials based on a century-long cultural heritage of timber constructions, combined with modern craftsmanship. The cabins are designed to protect against the elements, while also providing a space for relaxation and restoration. The round shape is carefully thought out to create a contrast from the square life of city life and to become more at one with nature, both physically and mentally.
The Cone Cabins at Mjøsli
The Cone Cabins at are located at Mjøsli, a private cabin area in a forest along Lake Mjøsa. You may remember the Mjøsli cabin area from when it was featured on Sommerhytta in 2021? Here are 3 unique cone cabins, carefully placed to create a unique experience for the visitor. Each cabin has its own fenced area with a main cabin and a private sauna, as well as a great patio with a fire pit.
The main cabin is modern and spacious and is equipped with a fully functioning kitchen, a small luxurious bathroom, armchairs with chairs facing the view and a large, soft double bed. In addition, all the cone cabins are equipped with several power outlets, hot and cold water, TV, Wifi and heating.
Outside each cabin you have a great view over Lake Mjøsa where you can enjoy the sunset by the fire pit.
The saunas belong to each cabin and are free to use during your stay.
At the conifer cabins 2 and 3 there is also an annex on the plot with an extra double bed and a mini kitchen with a fridge and coffee machine. The remaining facilities such as kitchen, bathroom/shower and sauna are shared with the main cabin. Choose this option by adding 3-4 people to the same booking when booking.

When you arrive at the conifer cabin, free parking is included, there is also electric car charging available in the communal parking lot on the property. All guests have access to renting bicycles in the summer or ski equipment in the winter. Ski lessons and ski passes can also be booked, as well as ski storage during your stay.
At the Mjøsli cabin field, where the conifer cabin is located, there are some cute goats that guests can visit during their stay. A few meters away is also a larger climbing park where young and old can play. There are also a number of other activities for the whole family Football field, sand volleyball court and boccia courts on the field.
