Beautiful older guesthouse on a farmstead with a rural location and stunning views over the sea and mountains.

The house is originally an old smokehouse - something that is clearly visible in the main living room where the timber has been preserved. In the 1800s, the smokehouse was moved to a more central location on the farm. The living room was then expanded and modernized as technology progressed. In the last 10 years, the house has been renovated and modernized, but much of the old has been preserved and brought forward, which gives the house its lovely charm and nostalgic appearance.

Today, the farm is operational with sheep meat production. There are also other animals on the farm that can be greeted by visitors.

There is also a baking house on the farm, where traditional lefse baking is produced, but bread and other baked goods can also be purchased at announced times.

The most unique aspect of the guesthouse's location is probably the striking view over the sea and the Folgefonna glacier and the Kvinnheradsfjellene mountains to the east. Here, morning coffee can be enjoyed with magical sunrises all year round.

The farm is very centrally located, both close to the city and nature. Here, hiking shoes can be put on in the hallway, and just a few steps away, you are in nature. 7 km away is the town of Leirvik with all its attractions, such as a cultural house with a pool, an indoor ice rink, shops, and a hospital.
