Birdbox Førland is idyllically located close to the sea and mountains, forest, and nature. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the parking to the cabin. The path is well-maintained, but good shoes are recommended as there may be some wet areas.

The cabin is located on the edge of the farm's grazing area for sheep, and the sheep will be in the area grazing during your stay. It is also common for deer to pass by the cabin area, and there is a good chance of seeing eagles from the cabin's large panoramic windows.

The cabin is luxuriously furnished with everything you need for a good stay. A comfortable double bed with good pillows and duvets, warm wool blankets for cold evenings outside in the sunset or on the bed. Two comfortable armchairs, a table, a small kitchen nook with a coffee machine, kettle, refrigerator, and all necessary kitchen utensils are also in the cabin. Please note that there is no running water in the cabin, but there is a water container at the sink that can be used for handwashing and drinking. There is a kitchen sink in the kitchen.

Right outside the cabin is a composting toilet for extra comfort and privacy; the cabin does not have a shower. Outside, there is also a tap with water that is safe to drink.

There are also comfortable outdoor furniture and benches in the outdoor area to enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets. In winter, there is also a fire pit in the outdoor area.
