We went glamping at Skovsgaard on Langeland in mid-July, and we really had great weather. I was there with my family, and we all genuinely needed to recharge and get a little break from everyday life.
The goal of the trip was simply to enjoy nature, be together and create lots of cosy memories without any stress. It turned out to be the perfect little break where we could just relax and enjoy each other's company.
The drive to Langeland was really lovely, and the road trip through the beautiful rural landscape made the holiday feeling start on the way there. Our first impression was how calm and cosy it was, surrounded by nature, just as we had hoped.
The reception was really lovely, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming that we felt at home right away. A big bonus was the many activities included in the price that we didn't know about in advance.
The glamping tents themselves were also really beautiful. There was plenty of space even though we were four adults, we slept in proper beds, and the little wood-burning stove made the tent extra cosy on cooler evenings.
What we loved most was the calm and the beautiful walks in nature, where you might be lucky enough to spot animals along the way. A lot of work had clearly gone into creating a relaxed atmosphere where you could completely unwind.
One of the most fun and educational things was cooking outdoors and joining Kasper, the nature guide, on a foraging tour. You really notice how close Skovsgaard is to nature, and it rubbed off on us automatically. It made the experience both exciting, mindful and truly special.
There are really lots of great experiences at Skovsgaard. We highly recommend heading out into nature and taking one of the many beautiful walks, and don't forget to say hello to the animals along the way. It's also really lovely to light a campfire in the evening and just enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
A trip down to the beach is also worth it, and Skovsgaard's little café is highly recommended. We had lunch there with a view of the sea, and it was wonderful. If you have time, a visit to Rudkøbing is also a great option. It's a really charming town full of holiday vibes, small shops and cosy cafés.
