Atelier Skovbrinken - Stay in a historic artist studio

Historic artist studio close to Copenhagen – with forest, lakes, and station just minutes away

Welcome to Atelier Skovbrinken – a unique accommodation in a former artist studio, located in the extension of a beautiful, old villa from 1879.

Here you can stay peacefully and green, yet only a five-minute walk from Allerød Station. This makes it easy to take the train to and from Copenhagen – perfect if you want to experience the city during the day and return to tranquility, garden, and forest in the evening.

Your stay

The studio is approximately 55 m² spread over two floors and can accommodate up to four adults. On the first floor, there are two cozy double beds, while the ground floor provides space to relax, drink coffee, and be together.

You have your own large terrace of about 48 m² with a grill and outdoor fireplace, which you are free to use. From here, you step directly into our large, vibrant garden – a lush biodiversity garden with flowers, interesting plants, fruit trees, and edible berries. You are very welcome to explore, taste, and pick a little of what the garden offers.

The guest toilet and shower are shared with any other guests in the house. Here you will find a shower, towels, and soap. If you wish to use the main house's kitchen, it can usually be arranged – just write to us in advance with the days you want it.

Breakfast

We do not serve breakfast, but you can purchase a delicious breakfast basket, so you can easily make your own breakfast in a calm environment. Please feel free to contact us in advance if you wish to purchase it.

Forest, lakes, and experiences

Right outside the door lies the forest with lakes, paths, and plenty of space to breathe. You can take long walks, go berry picking, collect mushrooms, swim in forest lakes, or try some of the area's great mountain biking trails.

Copenhagen is about 25 minutes away by car – and easily reached by train from Allerød Station.

Good to know

We have cats on the property. The studio is of course thoroughly cleaned, but guests with cat allergies should take this into account.

The wilderness hot tub is unfortunately not in operation and can no longer be purchased as part of the stay.
