Welcome to Atelier Skovbrinken – a charming studio located in an old artist villa from 1879. Here, artists, writers, and free thinkers have found inspiration for decades. Now you can experience the place yourself and enjoy the tranquility, creativity, and beautiful surroundings.

Your stay

The studio is 55 m² spread over two floors and features 2 cozy double beds on the upper floor with a total capacity of max. 4 adults. You have access to a large, private terrace of 48 m² with an outdoor wood stove, as well as the villa's lovely garden. If you wish to use the main house's kitchen, that is also an option; just ask us or write which days you would like this. On the property, you will also find an orangery, a bonfire area, a wilderness bath (use of the wilderness bath must be purchased additionally), and an outdoor kitchen, which together create a very special atmosphere. If you wish to use any of this, please contact us in advance, as it may be booked.

The area

The studio is close to the forest, where you can go for walks, forage, collect mushrooms, or challenge yourself on some of Denmark's best mountain biking trails. There is also the opportunity to swim in forest lakes. At the same time, the place is only a 5-minute walk from Allerød Station and a 25-minute drive from Copenhagen.

We do our best to provide you with a good experience and would like to point out that we have a cat and chickens. Although everything is cleaned and freshly washed, there may easily be allergic reactions for those with cat allergies! We ask you to take this into consideration. If you have any questions, feel free to call. During peak season, breakfast is not served, but you have access to the main house's kitchen.
