Tiny house in a villa garden close to forest, station, and Copenhagen

The tiny house is a small, cozy sleeping base for two in the corner of our large villa garden. It is located under a large spruce with its own outdoor kitchen and fire pit right at the door – a nice place for a simple overnight stay close to nature.

Here you will stay in a quiet villa neighborhood, close to both forest and city. Allerød Station is just a few minutes' walk away, so you can easily take the train to and from Copenhagen. The forest begins about 50 meters from the garden and offers good trails, swimming lakes, and mountain biking routes.

The Tiny House

The house is a small, insulated room with a comfortable futon mattress for two, duvets, pillows, blackout curtains, and a radiator for cool nights.

It is important to know that the tiny house is a sleeping house – not a standalone holiday home with its own bathroom, kitchen, or indoor living space. It works best for those of you who enjoy being outdoors, using the garden, and enjoying a simple stay close to nature.

Right outside is a small outdoor kitchen with a kettle, mini fridge, pots, and pans. Here you can prepare simple meals, and at the fire pit, you can light a fire, roast marshmallows, or cook over the fire.

The Villa and Shared Facilities

The tiny house is located in the same garden as the old villa. You have your own space by the house, but the garden and some facilities are shared with us and any other guests.

Guest toilet, shower, and bath are located in the villa, a short walk through the garden from the tiny house. You are also welcome to use the kitchen and common areas in the main house if you wish to cook or sit indoors.

On cooler or rainy days, you can cozy up in the large orangery, where there is space to sit and play games.

The Garden and Area

The garden is a lush biodiversity garden with flowers, various plants, fruit trees, and edible berries. You are welcome to explore and taste some of what is in season.

We are happy to lend out bikes if you want to explore the area on two wheels.

Breakfast and Practical Info

We do not serve breakfast, but you can purchase a breakfast basket and make breakfast at your own pace.

We have cats on the property, so guests with cat allergies should take this into account.

The hot tub is unfortunately no longer in operation and can therefore no longer be purchased as part of the stay.
