Tretopphytta Bjørkhytta

Bjørkhytta is located on Danseråsen, a short walk from Tretopphytta Granhytta, only 300 m. Ski slopes right outside and canoeing lake below the cabin. Large veranda with fire pit. Access to the cabin is via a short wooden staircase up from the parking lot that then leads to a solid wooden bridge.

Bjørkhytta has large sliding doors to the veranda that extends around the entire cabin, and has sun from morning to evening. If you are traveling with a large group, it is recommended to rent both Bjørk and Granhytta, or one or both of the cabins and Lavvoen, which is a 5-minute walk away.

The sleeping loft has 150 cm wide mattresses on each side of the stairs. Here you can lie down and watch the starry sky through the skylights. The main floor also has a sleeping alcove with a window with space for two (120x200cm). It is also possible for two people to sleep on the sofa bench. Up to eight beds in the cabin, but then it will be cramped!

A small dammed lake with three small islands is located below the cabin, and guests have free use of a canoe and four life jackets.

On the veranda you can enjoy a campfire and be entertained by birds and squirrels. Occasionally also black grouse.

Well-groomed ski slopes 100 meters from the cabin, and the meeting point for sleigh rides and dog sledding in the winter is at Lavvoen vår, a short walk away.

Check-in is from 4 pm. Check-out by 2 pm.
