Treetop Cabin Sky Cabin

Himmelhytta is nestled in pine trees and is located secluded on a small island between two small lakes, Klufttjernet. From the parking lot and across the lake, you walk on an 80m long wooden path to the island.

Himmelhytta has skylights and a veranda around the entire cabin. The view is magnificent, and here you are completely to yourself. Bird feeders in the veranda railing are frequently visited by both birds and squirrels, and trout roost in the water around the cabin. Occasionally, cranes land on the water's edge and strut around with their distinctive trumpet sound. A canoe with oars and life jackets is available for free use, and it is possible to fish from the canoe.

On the viewing loft there are two double beds. Here you have a panoramic view of nature and the starry sky through the skylights. There are a total of seven beds in the cabin.

The ski slopes in Veldre Almenning are well-groomed and varied. You can drive or ski about one kilometer to Lavvoen and Tretophyttene Gran and Bjørk to get to groomed trails.
