Treehouse with suspension bridge at Ekne

Stay overnight in a cabin on stilts between the trees. The cabin is located 3 meters above the ground, and has everything you need for a unique overnight stay in the troll forest. You have your own suspension bridge, which takes you to a platform up between the trees. Here you will find comfortable chairs, a dining area, a fire pit and an outdoor fireplace with a grill. The charming 10m2 cabin has everything you need and nothing more. Inside the cabin there is a lovely double bed that can accommodate two, or four if you pull out the bed drawer. The cabin also has a small loft with a ladder, where the children can play or you can relax with a good book. Cook your own food in the cabin's kitchen, or outside on the fire pit. Feel the cozy warmth in the cabin, when you light a fire in the wood stove. The experience of the simple life gives room for reflection and peace, close to nature.
Power for lights and for charging phones etc (USB socket) from solar panels (12v).
The kitchen is equipped with what you need for cooking and eating, and has a gas fridge and 2 gas hobs as well as a sink with a water jug ​​above. The wood stove also has a hob for heating water/food.

On the terrace you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a good breakfast. Close your eyes while floating in the hammock on the terrace and enjoy the sounds of the forest. This is also where you will find the cabin's own small toilet room. Here you will find a bio-toilet, and water from a jug (20 liters) by the sink.

With the cabin's folding door, the outside and the inside are connected as one, and nature is let into the cabin.
There are 4 duvets (140 cm x 220 cm) and pillows in the cabin. Bed linen and small towels are included and are located in the cabin.

You can choose to book a local breakfast package when booking this accommodation.

Included in the rent is a rowboat rental (shared with our other guests), life jackets and fishing equipment (in season approx. May-October).

We also rent out SUP, kayak, snowshoes and ice fishing equipment. We can also help you rent bicycles if you wish. Just contact us in advance of your stay.

If you need transportation from the airport (35 km) / train station (4 km from us), please contact us and we can help you with this. We can also do your shopping for you upon request and with a shopping list if you arrive after the store is closed.
