Treehouse with suspension bridge at Ekne

"Live slowly for a while and be in contact with nature." Spend the night in a cabin on stilts among the trees. The cabin is 3 meters above the ground and has everything you need for a unique stay in the enchanted forest. You have your own suspension bridge that takes you to a platform up among the trees. Here you will find comfortable chairs, a dining area, a fire pit, and an outdoor fireplace with a grill grate. The charming cabin of 10m2 has everything you need and nothing more. Inside the cabin, there is a lovely double bed that accommodates two, or four if you pull out the bed drawer. The cabin also has a small loft with a ladder, where children can play or you can relax with a good book. Prepare your own meals in the cabin's kitchen or outside on the fire pit. Feel the cozy warmth in the cabin when you light the wood stove. The experience of simple living allows for reflection and peace, close to nature. Electricity for lights and charging of phones etc. (USB socket) from solar panel system (12v). The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking and eating, and has a gas refrigerator and 2 gas burners as well as a sink with a water jug above. The wood stove also has a hotplate for heating water/food. On the terrace, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a good breakfast. Close your eyes while you sway in the hammock on the terrace and enjoy the sounds of the forest. It is also here you will find the cabin's own little toilet room. Here you will find a bio-toilet and water from a jug (20 liters) at the sink. With the cabin's folding door, the outdoor and indoor spaces are connected, and nature is let into the cabin. There are 4 duvets (140 cm x 220 cm) and pillows in the cabin. Bed linen and small towels are included and are in the cabin. You can choose to book a local breakfast package when booking this accommodation. Included in the rental is the use of a rowboat (shared with our other guests), life jackets, and fishing gear (in season approximately May-October). We also rent out SUP, kayak, snowshoes, and ice fishing equipment. We can also help you rent bikes if you wish. Just contact us before your stay. If you need transport from the airport (35 km) / train station (4 km from us), please contact us and we can assist you with this.
