The new funky cabin in solid wood is located on the sunny side of Hardangerfjord, and has the most fantastic panoramic view of the landscape and the fjord. The cabin is 40 m2 and has 1 bedroom, 1 sleeping loft with 3-4 mattresses, and a double sofa bed in the living room. 
Double bed 160 x 200 in the bedroom, 80x200 mattresses in the loft, all with good sleeping comfort. Kitchen and living room in one. 
The kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, 2 hot plates, and dining area with a fjord view. 
The sofa is a spacious and comfortable Bolia sofa bed. The cabin has a balcony so you can enjoy breakfast outside and listen to the birds chirping. The bedroom and sleeping loft also have a panoramic fjord view. 
The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and washing machine. You can drive right to the door and the parking space outside has room for 2 cars. Sun all day and evening sun. NB! 100% smoke-free since there are allergies in the family. 

The place
Hardanger Fjordtun has two cabins and a house, at Mælen outside Herand. 
The idyllic location is on the sunny side of Hardangerfjord, at the end of a 3-kilometer side road. 
Here you have sun until late in the evening. In fact, it is often sunnier here than in other places. The proof lies in the warmth-loving old forest that exists here. The light over the fjord gives the place a magical view regardless of the weather. It is suitable to stay here if you want to enjoy the peace, lie and watch the clouds all day, swim or fish. You can also be active and take the trip to the summer ski center at Folgefonna or the trip to Trolltunga, which has a starting point about 1 hour away. There are endless hiking opportunities nearby, so bring your hiking shoes. 
A path leads down to beautiful smooth rocks and pebble beach, about a 5-minute walk. There is also a pier for fishing, and perhaps a free rowboat.
