Hanging tree house on idyllic small farm

We are a unique accommodation located 40 minutes outside of Oslo. As a guest, you have the opportunity to sleep in Blåbæret, an exclusive, secluded tree tent in the forest. You also have the chance to participate in life on the small farm. Whether you want to enjoy the tranquility, hike in the woods, pick your own eggs for breakfast, or help care for our miniature animals, we have something to offer for everyone who wishes to be closer to Norwegian nature.

Blåbæret is designed like a sphere that hangs secluded in the forest behind our farm. It is suspended 3-4 meters above the ground with access via a ladder. It is unique in Norway and offers a one-of-a-kind experience where you can feel the movements of the trees. It has been designed and installed by engineers and wood specialists.

Inside Blåbæret, there is 1 double bed and 1 single bed. This means 3 adults can sleep there (or 2 adults and 2 children if the family is willing to share beds). It has USB ports for charging phones and indoor lighting.

In the summer, the tree tent has insect screens on all windows and the door. You have a private solar-heated shower in addition to a private composting toilet. Other facilities include an outdoor area for food preparation, including a gas grill and necessary plates and cutlery.

For winter use, the tree tent is insulated, and we have a small electric heater and a wood stove for cozy stays in colder weather. In winter, you also have access to an indoor shower and kitchen. The modern composting toilet by the tree tent also works well in winter.

For our visitors, we offer a range of activities with our animals on the farm. From donkey walks to picnics with miniature horses, we have something of interest for both young and old. These are available as "extras" when booking here, or they can be booked on our website denlillestoregarden.com.

House rules:
- No open flames except for the provided gas grill due to fire risk.
- No use of speakers, and we ask that people respect the silence.
- No pets.
- Guests must exercise caution around the animals and keep a distance from agricultural machinery when the host is not present.
