We are a unique accommodation 40 minutes outside Oslo. As a guest, you have the opportunity to sleep in Blåbæret, an exclusive, secluded treetop tent in the forest. You also have the opportunity to participate in life on the small farm. Whether you want to enjoy the silence, go for a walk in the forest, pick your own eggs for breakfast or take part in caring for our miniature animals, we have something to offer everyone who wants to be closer to Norwegian nature.

Blåbæret is intended as a sphere that hangs undisturbed in the forest behind our farm. It hangs 3-4 meters from the ground with access via a ladder. It is unique in Norway and offers a unique experience where you feel the movement of the trees. It was designed and installed by engineers and wood specialists.

Inside Blåbæret there is 1 double and 1 single bed. Then 3 adults can sleep there (or 2 adults and 2 children if the family is willing to share a bed). It has USB ports for charging phones and indoor lighting.

In the summer, the wooden tent has insect screens on all windows and the door. You have a private solar-heated shower in addition to a private composting toilet. Other facilities include an outdoor area for preparing food including a gas grill and the necessary plates and cutlery.

For winter use, the wooden tent is insulated and we have a small electric stove and a wood stove for cozy stays in colder weather. In the winter, you also have access to an indoor shower and kitchen. The modern composting toilet at the wooden tent also works well in the winter.

For our visitors, we offer a variety of activities with our animals on the farm. From donkey walks to picnics with miniature horses, we have something of interest for both young and old. These are available as "extras" when booking here or they can be booked on our website denlillestoregarden.com.

House rules:
- No open fire except for the provided gas grill due to the risk of forest fires.
- No use of loudspeakers and we ask that people respect the silence.
- No pets
- Guests must be careful around animals and keep their distance from farm machinery when the host is not present.

* We operate a working farm with livestock and farm machinery. To book with us, you must be aware that both animals and farm machinery can carry a certain risk.
