A stay at The Little Big Farm is more than just an overnight stay – it’s an authentic farm experience. In your own private forest glade, you can leave the everyday behind, relax, and get close to nature while enjoying the simple and genuine farm life.
The Water Lily is a spacious glamping tent, perfect for couples, families, and groups of friends. The tent accommodates up to six single beds and is located in a private part of the forest with several outdoor areas at different levels. Here you will find a sun terrace, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, a private outdoor bathroom, and a forest shower – all surrounded by nature, with tranquility and privacy in focus.
Right behind The Water Lily, the forest stretches for kilometers inward – perfect for a peaceful walk or just to enjoy the silence. If you’re lucky, you might also catch a glimpse of some of the forest’s permanent residents, such as deer, moose, foxes, badgers, hawks, cranes, or perhaps even a lynx.
If you wish to experience the farm up close, you can book our private activities with miniature sleds, mini horses, and dwarf goats – from calm rides with horses or donkeys to atmospheric goat picnics. You can also order a breakfast basket filled with fresh produce from the farm or enjoy homemade farm pizza, made with seasonal ingredients and served in tranquil surroundings.
With us, you can travel light and relax from the very first moment. Towels, bed linen, kitchen utensils, dishes, and cutlery are of course included, so you can focus on enjoying your stay.

This was a fantastic positive experience. Unpolished and close farm visit, with both animals and visitors in focus. Highly recommended. We were 2 grandparents with 2 grandchildren in 2nd and 3rd grade. Everyone had a great time and would love to come back soon.

We had a magical day with glamping at an idyllic small farm with a miniature horse, donkey, and goat. Absolutely great communication and reception from the host. The children had a wonderful time participating in the care of the animals, and the breakfast was just fantastic. I can really recommend this experience to everyone :)

Hello! I'm Kelly and together with my partner Birger, we own a small farm just outside Oslo called Den lille store gården. We raise miniature horses, mini donkeys and dwarf goats. I really enjoy providing people with the opportunity to relax and reconnect with nature. Seeing people put away their phones and truly connect with our with our animals is the best part of my job!
