Birdbox Lotsbergskaara is located 270 meters above sea level in one of Norway's most beautiful gems – Nordfjord. Here you get a unique experience framed by one of the finest views in the country, where you can enjoy both luxury and tranquility. From the cabin, you can witness deer grazing and eagles soaring right outside the window, while embracing the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere of your own private oasis.

Skaara Living is pleased to offer Birdbox Lotsbergskaara, one of our two exclusive Birdbox cabins. This intimate cabin consists of one room, where minimalist design and carefully selected details blend seamlessly with the spectacular nature outside. Large windows provide panoramic views of Nordfjorden and the majestic mountains, making the landscape an integral part of the experience. Every single detail in the cabin is chosen to evoke a sense of calm and connection to the surroundings – from the soft morning light to the peaceful view you can enjoy while relaxing.

What can you expect in Birdbox Lotsbergskaara?
- Luxury and comfort in one room: The cabin is designed for total relaxation, with a double bed measuring 150 x 200 cm, two chairs, and a small table. A kitchenette with a kettle, refrigerator, and sink provides you with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

- Privacy and peace: This is a perfect place for those who want to unwind from everyday life in a peaceful, private atmosphere, completely free from disturbances.

- Outdoor area for nature experiences: Birdbox Lotsbergskaara is located in an area where you can enjoy the tranquility, take walks, or explore the fantastic surroundings. From the cabin, you can enjoy the view or take a short drive to amazing nature experiences in the area.

- Incinerating toilet: An incinerating toilet is available just outside the cabin, providing extra comfort and privacy during your stay.

- No running water: Please note that there is no running water, so it is important to bring sufficient drinking water and food for your stay. A 5-liter water can for handwashing is available in the cabin, and we provide a bottle of water and a bottle of non-alcoholic drink in the refrigerator produced by Påldtun, which you can share as a gift from us.

- Air conditioning and heat pump: For extra comfort in all seasons, the cabin is equipped with both air conditioning and a heat pump, allowing you to adjust the temperature to exactly the level you desire.

- No cooking or heating: There is no possibility to heat or cook food in the cabin, except for using the kettle. We therefore recommend bringing ready-made meals or food that does not require heating during your stay. We suggest purchasing food from one of the local restaurants in Nordfjordeid.

Important information
- Shower options: We do not have a shower available. However, we have an agreement with Nordfjord Hotel, which offers our guests about half price on day passes to their spa facilities upon presentation of the booking confirmation.

- Parking and access: The cabin is located about a 15-minute drive from Nordfjordeid along the road towards Lote and further towards Lotsberg. Free parking is available on the gravel road just below the birdbox. The nearest grocery store can be found in Nordfjordeid, so be prepared to bring sufficient food and drink for the entire stay.

- Due to the lack of running water in the area, the use of camping stoves and other open flames is prohibited. We ask all guests to respect this rule.
