Welcome to Luna and Aurora – a peaceful and private place with beautiful views of the Sognefjord. When you rent here, you have the entire property to yourself. No other guests stay here at the same time.

Here you will find tranquility, nature, and a genuine cabin feeling, with a short distance to the fjord and good opportunities for swimming, paddling, fishing, trail and mountain biking, and lovely hikes in the area. This is particularly suitable for couples, families, and small travel groups who prefer a personal and nature-oriented accommodation over hotel standards.

Luna – a small family cabin with charm and fjord view

Luna is a small family cabin from 1971, with much of the original cabin style preserved. The cabin has a kitchen, a bathroom with a compost toilet, a small bedroom, and a cozy living room with a dining area, daybed, and double sofa bed.

The sofa bed is positioned so that you can fall asleep and wake up to the view of the fjord.

The bed in the bedroom of Luna is 140 × 185 cm and is therefore best suited for children or shorter adults. Guests renting Luna also have access to the bedrooms in Aurora if needed, so you can choose the sleeping arrangement that best suits your group.

Luna is not a modern luxury cabin, but a place with simple standards, character, and a lot of atmosphere – for those who appreciate peace, nature, and a genuine cabin feeling.

Luna is normally rented out from around May 1 to October 15.

Aurora – a simple annex with two separate bedrooms

Aurora is located on the same property and consists of two separate bedrooms with double beds and a small entrance between the rooms.

The annex does not have its own kitchen, shower, indoor toilet, or living room. Guests staying only in Aurora use Atlas, our private outdoor toilet. During the summer season, there is also an outdoor sink with hot water and cold drinking water.

Aurora is best suited for guests who are comfortable with simple standards and enjoy spending much of their time outdoors.

Aurora can be rented year-round, except during periods when other guests stay in Luna. This way, guests always have the property privately, without other guests at the same time.

From around October 15 to April 15, the summer water is closed.

Life by the Sognefjord

It is the outdoor area, the view, and the proximity to the fjord that make the place special. Start the day with morning coffee and fjord views, go down to the water for a swim, take a paddle trip, go on a bike ride, or find a quiet spot and enjoy the surroundings.

Guests have access to a fire pit, charcoal grill, and simple grilling equipment, so meals can also be prepared outdoors.

From June 1 to October 1, two SUP boards are available for guests during their stay. Use is at your own risk.

Dogs are warmly welcome. The cabin site is fenced, so your four-legged travel companion can also join the holiday.

This is a place for those who want something simple, personal, and genuine – with nature close by, views over the Sognefjord, and plenty of space to slow down.
