Welcome to Ramstadbu, a cozy and spacious cabin idyllically located by the beautiful Ramstadsjøen, surrounded by forest, mountains, and tranquil nature.

Here you can experience genuine Norwegian cabin coziness by the water, just one hour from Trondheim. The cabin is secluded with a short distance to the water and good outdoor areas around, making it perfect for families or small groups looking for peaceful days in nature.

The cabin accommodates up to eight people and has four bedrooms spread over two floors – two rooms with double beds and two rooms with family bunk beds. All beds have good year-round duvets and Egyptian cotton bedding, and towels are ready upon arrival. Cleaning is included, so you can relax from the very start.

The living room and kitchen are in an open and social layout with plenty of space for togetherness. The well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare both a simple breakfast or a cozy dinner after a day outdoors. The fireplace creates a cozy and warm atmosphere on cool evenings.

Outside, you will find a spacious terrace with several seating areas, a fire pit, and a bonfire – perfect for long summer evenings or quiet mornings with a view of nature. Around the cabin, there is a lawn and safe outdoor areas that are well-suited for children.

Ramstadsjøen is just a short walk from the cabin and is a calm and shallow water perfect for swimming, paddling, and quiet mornings by the waterside. The area offers great hiking opportunities in the forest and mountains year-round.

Ramstadbu is about one hour from Trondheim and around 20 minutes from Støren center. Oppdal and Røros are also nice for day trips.

Up to two dogs are welcome by arrangement.

The cabin is a place for peace and nature experiences and is therefore not suitable for parties.

This is a place where the pace slows down – where days can start with coffee on the terrace and a view of the water, and end with cozy fireplace moments after a day out in nature.
