Great place and nice experience. Richard was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended to others. Remember warm clothes if it's late in the fall or very windy.

“Hi, my name is Richard. I am Norwegian and I work as a nature guide in the beautiful fjord landscape of Southeast Norway. I have recently started a small business with two friends that offers extraordinary outdoor experiences and overnight stays. With over 10 years of experience in tourism and guiding, we have truly fallen in love with not only the Trolltunga region, but also the many beautiful encounters and connections with people from all over the world. We love sharing our experience and local knowledge with travelers and adventurers who come to explore the great outdoors in Norway. On all our trips we aim to help people reconnect with nature and challenge their own boundaries and perceptions. We look forward to welcoming you as our guests!”

We had an awesome experience that we are unlikely to ever forget. We took the tyssedal via ferrata to get to camp, where we were greeted by our guide Richard. He was a really chill, and knowledgeable guide, and really fun to chat with. After a tour of the historical hydro facility we got the first taste of our portaledge, where we had the best view you can possibly imagine. It's quite a surreal image which is hard to explain with words, and photos don't do the real thing justice. Richard cooked us a very lovely dinner, and we chatted for a while before having a short hike around. Then we went back to the portaledge and enjoyed the view for the remainder of our night. 10/10 would definitely recommend ! Oh and the next morning we got fresh coffee, what else could you want
