Settle in comfortably on the cabin's private covered terrace, enjoy the surroundings, a bottle of wine, and each other. A lovely getaway where you stay in the midst of a Danish organic/regenerative vineyard. The cabin, built in 2022, is right next to the vineyards with a view of some of Denmark's oldest vines planted in 2006 and 2007. With them in mind and a bottle of our rosé wine in hand, the Mediterranean atmosphere on the terrace is turned up!

In the cabin, there is an option to hang clothes on a clothes rack, as well as a luggage bench and dining table. 50 meters from the cabin, there are bathroom and toilet facilities, as well as a unique kitchen house with all modern amenities. Most importantly, the beds are of good quality and are ready made for you upon arrival. On the terrace, comfortable chairs await in a cozy seating area.

At Hideaway Vineyard, you can enjoy the view from the top of Fejø, 18 meters above sea level, grab one of our tandem bikes and experience Fejø with the wind in your hair, or lounge around while time flows unnoticed. Renting the cabin includes bedding, towels, and the option to use a tandem bike. Additionally, breakfast is included, consisting of organic coffee and tea, breakfast bread, cheese, jam, butter, cold cuts, yogurt, milk, and muesli, and of course, fresh fruit from the island in season. It is possible to purchase lunch and a guided tour depending on when in the season you book your stay.

The toilet and shower are designed to be handicap-friendly and beautiful. We are the only ones on Fejø who have invested in a biological-chemical wastewater treatment plant, and for that reason, we have gathered all wastewater activities so that they are discharged into nature via this facility. Therefore, there is no toilet and shower in the cabin. There is a mini refrigerator in the cabin.

Shared kitchen and cooking

Cooking facilities are available in the cozy shared kitchen, which is shared by our 3 cabins. Here, you can prepare our delicious meal boxes or your own brought food. The shared kitchen is located about 30m from the cabin, close to our exotic gardens. There is also a covered terrace where you can enjoy the view over the vineyard.

When purchasing meal boxes:

You will receive the box when you have arranged it with the host, which is done at check-in. These are dishes that are easy to prepare; the host has done most of the work, so you only have a short preparation time, and the meal is mostly based on local ingredients.

Note: Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash as there are free-range geese in the vineyard that must not be hunted. If you bring a dog, please check this off during the add-ons.

High season offers from Midsummer to mid-August, the following can be booked and purchased directly from the host:

Guided tours of the vineyard, fig arboretum, and winery with 3 tastings every day at 15:00 for kr. 195,- Delicious lunches from 12:00 - 16:00 The vineyard has a professional chef employed and prepares dishes based on local ingredients, e.g., the vineyard's own vine leaf rolls as well as Ravioli from Pasta Principato, which is also produced on Fejø.

The Traktørstedet is open for lunch from 12:00 – 15:00 every Saturday and Sunday. There is a guided tour every Saturday at 15:00.
