Take a Getaway and stay in the romantic Fig Cabin

Beautifully isolated wooden cabin with its own toilet. The cabin is located privately by the fig arboretum on the vineyard. Here you can enjoy more than 70 different varieties of figs in the open air!

The Fig Cabin is the perfect cabin for couples who want to stay privately and away from the main buildings of the vineyard. Enjoy a night in a truly lovely double bed while you share the fake wine you receive upon check-in. The cabin has a mini fridge, a dining table for 2 people, and a partially covered terrace with lovely furniture, as well as a view over the fig arboretum and the vineyards. In 2026, we have added a small extension to the cabin, a toilet room with a sink, and an outdoor solar shower. A small outdoor kitchen has also been set up by the cabin.

A night in the Fig Cabin includes:

- Bedding

- A bottle of Hideaway Vineyard's delicate rosé wine.

- Delicate breakfast tray

- Access to a unique kitchen house 100 meters from the cabin

- Tandem bicycle

- Access to your own toilet and shower and a shared bathroom and toilet at the Tavern, 100 m from the cabin

The cabin can be heated with electricity during the slightly colder shoulder seasons for a small heating fee, this is agreed upon upon arrival at the vineyard as it is weather dependent.

When purchasing meal boxes:

You agree with the host upon arrival when you want the box delivered. These are dishes that are easy to make with relatively short preparation time, based on local ingredients from skilled niche producers.

Note: Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash as there are free-range geese in the vineyard that must not be hunted. If you bring a dog, please check this off under additional purchases.

Weekends and Thursday-Sunday in High Season: Book and purchase directly from the host:

Tour of the vineyard, fig arboretum, and winery with 2 tastings every day at 3:00 PM for kr. 150,- Delicious Lunch from 12:00 - 4:00 PM.

Low season offer from Pentecost to the end of September, book and purchase directly from the host:

The Tavern is open for lunch from 12:00 - 3:00 PM every Saturday and Sunday. There is a tour every Saturday at 3:00 PM.
