Det lille grønne hus (The Little Green House) is a small, cosy treehouse built in a 2,000-year-old beech tree, minimalist in style but genuinely practical and functional.

It sleeps two adults and two children and makes a lovely base for a family holiday. Play a game on the terrace or take a walk in the woods, there's even a tandem bike to borrow. There's a warm hot tub right under the tree. All meals are included, with breakfast charmingly delivered by a small pulley that hoists the food up to the cabin, and an authentic Vietnamese menu served for dinner.

At Funky Forest you get forest and lake in all their charm. The cabin sits at the end of a quiet lane on the edge of a small, scenic village in central Jutland, with a shop and public transport within easy reach. The forest itself has great walking trails and options for swimming and fishing.

The cabin is available year-round, sleep among snow-covered branches in winter, watch the autumn colours up close, or enjoy fresh spring growth. Another cabin sits 20 metres away with a terrace wrapped around a birch trunk. It sleeps two, and the treehouse itself has four more beds.
