Nature Stay for the Whole Family (tent for 5 people)

If you dream of getting more out into nature, learning about it, and being together with other families, then a Nature Stay is just what you need.

When you book a nature stay at Skovsgaard, you get a complete package:

- A tipis tent furnished with beds, mattresses, bedding, and coziness - set up for 5 people
- Access to a common room with regular ovens, refrigerator, dishes, and all basic kitchen equipment, shared with other guests
- Access to the entire Skovsgaard area with wild horses & cattle, exhibitions, nature workshops, hiking trails, etc.
- A daily program with activities aimed at families with children aged 3-8 years

- Breakfast from Café Skovsgaard

As a guest at our nature stay, you will have the optimal setting for a vacation with space for Nature Education, peace, and immersion. You decide how much you want to participate - but we recommend that you join the daily excursions. We have both indoor and outdoor cooking facilities. In our outdoor kitchen, there are fire pits, pizza ovens, and a kitchen wagon - and we recommend cooking in the company of other families.

Throughout the summer holiday, we have a packed program with fun activities for the whole family. A nature stay for the whole family lasts from Monday to Friday and has the following program:

Monday:
3 PM: Welcome to the area and introduction to the place.
4 PM - 7 PM: WILD FOOD workshop with Nature Guide.

Tuesday:
8:30 AM - 10 AM: Breakfast with Café Skovsgaard
11 AM: Small safari to The Thicket
1 PM: Wild safari to the waterhole
Evening on your own

Wednesday:
8:30 AM - 10 AM: Breakfast with Café Skovsgaard
11 AM: Small safari to Dead Trees
1 PM: Wild safari to The Manure
Approx. 8 PM - 9 PM: The evening offers a Bat Tour with a nature guide.

Thursday:
8:30 AM - 10 AM: Breakfast with Café Skovsgaard
11 AM: Small safari to the Waterhole
1 PM: Wild safari to the Forest
Evening on your own

Friday:
8:30 AM - 10 AM: Breakfast with Café Skovsgaard
11 AM: Check out

All excursions take place with a Nature Guide, and it will be agreed on the day if there are changes regarding wind and weather.

You are welcome to explore on your own throughout the day, and in the evening, it is just you and the other families who are in the area.

We would also like to point out that members of the Danish Society for Nature Conservation receive a 10% discount on all stays.
