If you dream of getting out into nature more, learning more about it and being with other families, then a Nature Stay is just the thing for you.

When you book a nature stay at Skovsgaard, you get a complete package:

- A shelter furnished with mattresses, bedding and coziness - designed for 3 people
- Access to a common room with regular stoves, refrigerator, dishes and all basic kitchen equipment, which is shared with the other guests
- Access to the entire Skovsgaard area with wild horses & cattle, exhibitions, nature workshop, hiking trails, etc.
- A daily program of activities targeted at families with children aged 3-8

As a guest at our nature stay, you get the optimal framework for a holiday with space for nature education, peace and contemplation. You decide for yourself how much you want to bring - but we recommend that you take it with you on the daily trips. We have both indoor and outdoor facilities for cooking. Our outdoor kitchen has fire pits, pizza ovens and a kitchen cart - and we recommend that you cook in the company of other families.

Throughout the summer holidays we have a packed programme of fun activities for the whole family. A nature stay for the whole family lasts from Monday to Friday and has the following programme:

Monday:
15:00: Welcome to the area and introduction to the place.
16:00-19: WILD FOOD workshop by a nature guide.

Tuesday:
8:30-10: Breakfast
11:00: Small safari to Krattet
13:00: Wild safari to Vanhullet
Evening on your own

Wednesday:
8:30-10: Breakfast
11:00: Small safari to Døde træer
13:00: Wild safari to Lorten
Approx. 20-21: The evening offers a bat tour with a nature guide.

Thursday:
8:30-10: Breakfast

11: Small safari to the Waterhole
13: Wild safari to the Forest
Evening on your own

Friday:
8:30-10: Breakfast
11: Check out

All tours take place with a Nature Guide and it is agreed on the day if there are any changes due to wind and weather.

You are welcome to explore on your own all day, and in the evening it is only you and the other families who are in the area.

We would also like to point out that members of the Danish Nature Conservation Association receive a 10% discount on all stays.
