Camp Fasanen – Glamping at Bakkegaarden

Glamping at Bakkegaarden - Camp Fasanen, is a small glamping site in West Zealand, perfect for a mini-holiday close to nature. Here you stay in the middle of nature by our private lake, surrounded by trees, birdsong, and rich wildlife – only about 1 hour's drive from Copenhagen, Odense, and Malmö 🚗

When you arrive, you park at the farm, where we personally welcome you and provide a cart for your luggage. After that, you walk about 450 meters up to your tent, as nature slowly unfolds around you. Camp Fasanen is secluded with a lake view and a private outdoor area with a fire pit, hammock, sunshade, and table/benches.

The tent is comfortably furnished with a double bed (140x200), seating area, and everything you need for a pleasant stay. There is the possibility for two extra beds with mattresses, making the tent suitable for couples, friends, or small families. The material in the tent ensures a comfortable indoor climate without becoming too hot or humid.

In the morning, a delicious homemade breakfast brunch awaits, which you pick up at the farm. It consists of homemade rolls, pancakes, jam, juice, fruit, and vegetables from the kitchen garden, as well as local products 🥐🍓

The lake is private and only accessible to our guests, creating a very special tranquility. You can fish (for a fee) for perch and trout, and equipment can be rented.

Facilities include a real toilet with cold water, a camp shower among the trees, where the sun heats the water, and an outdoor kitchen with a gas stove, sink, cooler, and cooking utensils.

The area is powered by solar panels and LED.

The area around the farm offers beautiful hiking and biking routes, small roadside stalls, churches, and open fields with horses and cows.

Bakkegaarden is run by a small family that has lived on the farm for several generations, and we personally welcome you. We ensure that the framework is in place so you can relax and enjoy the simple life close to nature 🌱

Many guests say they wish they had booked an extra night, and we therefore recommend a minimum of 2 nights to get the full experience.

Here, the pace is slow. No WiFi, no electricity, only solar-heated water for bathing. In return, you get starry nights, crackling fires, and the special tranquility that arises when everyday life releases its grip ✨
