With a desire to get closer to nature and experience something different, we decided to visit the adventurous blue yurt in Mols Bjerge. In the middle of Mols Bjerge, you'll find this amazing authentic yurt from Mongolia. Here we found peace, had an adventure and felt like we were further away than we actually were, exactly what we needed.
The beautiful surroundings, lovely details and cosy amenities such as the wood-burning stove, the fire pit and the beautiful view over the hills made the stay truly special for us.
From the moment we arrived, we felt drawn into another world. The yurt, with its distinctive shape and blue colour, sat peacefully in the middle of nature, surrounded by forest and hills. Inside, it was furnished with a lovely bed, a small kitchenette with a sink and fridge, a wood-burning stove and a dining table. We lit the stove and enjoyed a hot drink in front of the warmth.
In the evening, we lay in the double bed and looked up at the stars through the glass dome at the top of the yurt, a magical experience that brought us closer to nature.
It was the yurt's distinctive shape, the wood-burning stove and the glass dome with a view of the starry sky that made the stay something truly special.
Walking 900 metres through the forest to get there gave us a real sense of adventure, even before we reached the yurt.
Mols Bjerge National Park offers plenty of hiking opportunities right outside the door. If you're interested in history and culture, you can explore Denmark's largest round dolmen, Poskær Stenhus. In the evening, you can light the wood-burning stove or cook at the fire pit with the included fire equipment. There are three different yurts on the site in total, so there's also the option to explore the other two.
