Tree tent for rent. The tree tent is located in a small nature camp at Håvestøl in Åseral municipality. It hovers between 3 trees about 1.5 meters off the ground. Nice view towards the valley and mountains. Secluded location. Up here, you are alone. Birdsong, summer days, and wonderful views.
There are also many different forest animals in the area. Maybe you can see the beaver if you walk a little along the river.
Or moose, roe deer, deer, or fox.
The tree tent is one of the strongest tents available and can withstand up to 400 kg.
The price is for 2 people. You can bring a small child for free.
Dogs are not allowed in the tent.
In the tree tent area, there is a private biological toilet and a couple of chairs and tables, and an extra hammock if desired.
Down at the actual nature camp, about 100 meters from the tent, we have set up a simple outdoor kitchen with a gas stove and cooking facilities and a fire pit. Drinking water and kitchen equipment can be found there.
We also have a hot tub and sauna for rent.
The hot tub costs 550 - 750 kr/3 hours or by agreement.
The sauna costs 250 - 350 kr./2 hours (the sauna has a water tank you can heat water with and pour over yourself, then wash as they did in old times inside the sauna.)
Take a dip in the stream in between, it is just incredibly refreshing and nice.
You can also borrow a small rowboat for free at the nearest lake, where you can also fish (trout). A fishing license can be purchased from Inatur. Bring your own life jackets.
Håvestøl nature camp is a small campsite nicely located by a small stream with a nice view over a mountain and has scenic surroundings while being a short distance from the parking lot.
You have to wade across a stream to get to the camping area. There is a setup for an outdoor kitchen with cooking possibilities and a fire pit. You can also rent a hot tub and a wood-fired sauna.
There is space for tents, and you can also rent a sleeping hammock or a small cabin on wheels if you prefer to sleep within 4 walls. The camp does not have electricity. Water is fetched from the stream. We usually set out drinking water every day. All toilets in the area are biological.
More pictures will come when everything is finished.
There are many nice hiking trails and mountain hiking opportunities in Åseral municipality. Rock climbing can also be tried at Sletafjellet, which is right nearby the camping.
From 1.7.26, it is possible to come by bus from Evje to us. The bus must be booked 1 day in advance from Akt
