Simple, small wilderness tent cabin with double bed. The cabin is located in a small and quiet nature camp in scenic surroundings with a nice view of the mountains. It is possible to rent a hot tub and a barrel sauna at the camp. The barrel sauna has a water tank that can be heated, and then you can wash yourself in the sauna. The hot tub costs 550 kr/3 hours or by agreement. The price includes water filling, starting the fire for heating, and cleaning. It takes about 1.5 hours to heat the tub.
The sauna costs 250 kr./2 hours including 1 bag of firewood and cleaning. (The sauna has a water tank that is heated when the sauna gets warm. Then you mix cold and hot water and pour it over yourself and wash as they did in the old days inside the sauna). It takes about 45 minutes for the sauna to get warm.
Also try taking a dip in the river in between.
Sletafjellet nearby is a popular mountain for climbing. We also have a rowing boat that can be borrowed for free at the nearest lake. (2 hours per time) Lognavatn about 7 km from the camp, where you can also fish. Buy your own fishing license. Bathing opportunities in the stream/river right next to the camp. The outdoor kitchen has cooking facilities and a simple selection of kitchen equipment. The outdoor lounge can also be used. There are also some outdoor games that you can borrow for free. Biological toilet nearby.
Cabin/tent is simple and is uninsulated and has no heating and no electricity and is considered only a summer cabin. There are candles for light. 2 duvets and pillows. Small, quiet dog is allowed.
Remember that it can be cool even in summer nights as the camp is located at about 400 m above sea level.

It was such a nice place, I was only there for 1 night but could easily have stayed longer. Thank you for the very nice kindness, so nice 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Very good experience and very sweet host. One should be aware to bring enough warm clothes even in the summer. Really nice that the cabins were very spread out so you felt completely alone.
