Simple, small wilderness wooden tent cabin with double bed. The cabin is located in a small and quiet nature camp in scenic surroundings and nice views of the mountains. Possible to rent a hot tub and a barrel sauna at the camp. The barrel sauna has a water tank that you can use to heat water and then wash yourself in the sauna. The hot tub costs 550 NOK/ 3 hours or by agreement. The price includes filling with water, starting the heating for heating and cleaning. Takes about 1.5 hours to heat up the steam.
Sauna costs 250 NOK. / 2 hours incl. 1 sack of wood and cleaning. (sauna has a water tank that heats up when the sauna gets hot. Then you mix cold and hot water and pour it over you and wash yourself like they did in the old days inside the sauna). Sauna takes about 45 min. to get hot.
Also try taking a dip in the river in between.

Sletafjellet nearby is a popular mountain for mountain climbing. We also have a rowboat that can be borrowed for free at the nearest lake. (2 hours per time) Lognavatn about 7 km from the camp, where you can also fish. Buy your own fishing license. Swimming opportunities in the stream/river right next to the camp. Outdoor kitchen has cooking facilities and a simple selection of kitchen equipment. You can also use the outdoor living room. There are also some outdoor games that you can borrow for free. The cabin/tent is simple and uninsulated and has no heating and no electricity and is considered a summer cabin only. There are candles for lighting. 2 duvets and pillows. Dogs are not allowed in this cabin.
Remember that it can be cool even in summer nights as the camp is located at about 400 m above sea level.

Possibility to charge your phone in the camp itself. Bring your own USB cable.
. It is about 25 km to Evje, where you can find many grocery stores, mineral park, rafting, climbing forest, go-karts etc.
To Åseral kyrkjebygda it is about 25 km, grocery store, gas station, Minne cultural center etc.
To Bortelid it is about 15 km. There you will find a bicycle and hiking trails, mini golf, canoe rental, shop etc.

There is space for a few tents and you can also rent a sleeping hammock or a couple of small cabins on wheels if you prefer to sleep within 4 walls. The camp does not have electricity. The water is collected from the stream. All the toilets in the area are biological.

Håvestøl nature camp is a very small campsite in the middle of nature that is nicely located by a small stream with a nice view of a mountain and has scenic surroundings at the same time that it is a short distance to the road.

We also rent out small cabins, tent pitches and floating tents. Most are placed as far apart as possible to ensure that everyone gets the most privacy possible.
