Small, cute mini log cabin for rent at a farm. Cabin is small and simple. approx. 8 m2 inside. Contains a bed 120 cm × 200, 2 duvets and pillows, small table with a couple of stools and an armchair and a wood stove. Cabin is best suited for 1 person but can be 2 if desired.
Electricity in the cabin and in addition there is a wood stove. Heating with panel stove and wood stove.
Firewood for 1 - 2 fires included in the price.

Cabin is a log cabin and is a bit dark inside. Has several atmospheric lights in the cabin so the atmosphere is good.
Outside the cabin there is a teepee (tipi) that contains a fire pan, seating and a small, simple outdoor kitchen with a hotplate and some kitchen equipment. In the period 1.6 - 1.9 there is also a small refrigerator in the teepee with a tiny freezer.
Biological compost toilet outside.
If you are several couples traveling, it is possible to also rent the small farm cabin that is in the same yard.
Otherwise, the other cabin is usually closed if the other one is rented out. There is no water in the cabin or outdoor kitchen, but you get free drinking water from us. We do the dishes.

This is a farm with sheep. The cabin is located near our house. Cars drive back and forth, the sheep walk outside and a tractor drives past in between. Our children can play outside and we can have visitors.
At the same time, there are also quieter times and the surroundings are rural and quiet

☆It is possible to rent a sauna and hot tub that are on the farm in winter from about 15.11 - 1.5 and in summer / autumn from about 1.5 -15.11 they are on by the river at our nature camp about 500 m. from the cabin.

Sauna and hot tub must be reserved 1-2 days in advance, but ask the host if there is availability even with shorter notice.

We have built a separate fenced area "spa corner" for the barrel sauna and hot tub on our farm. Not too far from the cabin.

The sauna is heated with wood. The water tank in the sauna is filled up and the water is heated so it is possible to wash in the sauna.

Transport to get to our farm / or to Håvestøl nature camp: If you don't have a car, you can take, for example, a plane or ferry to Kristiansand, which is the closest station. From there you can take a bus to Evje and, for example, a bus from Evje onwards to RØYNLID in Åseral municipality, then we will pick you up from Røynlid completely free of charge. We can also pick up from Evje for longer stays for a small extra fee.

Dogs are allowed but not in bed.
There is a leash requirement in the yard due to sheep

Possible to borrow a rowing boat for free in the nearest lake as long as there is no ice. Bring your own life jackets.
You must buy a fishing license yourself.
There are many good fishing lakes in Åseral municipality and many hiking trails.

Åseral municipality is known for its beautiful nature and lots of hiking trails both winter and summer. In winter there are miles of cross-country skiing trails and 3 alpine centers in Åseral. The nearest ski and alpine center and cross-country skiing trails at Bortelid are about a 15-minute drive.
-about 25 minutes to Evje mineral park, rafting and climbing forest and shops.
-about 15-20 minutes to Bortelid with an alpine center, about 110 km of groomed cross-country skiing trails and shops. In summer, Bortelid is known for many nice
hiking and hiking trails, mini golf and a roller ski track etc.
-25 minutes to Åseral kyrkjebygda center with Minne cultural center, coop store, gas station.
