Håvestøl nature camp is a small campsite that is nicely located by a small stream with a nice view of a mountain and has scenic surroundings at the same time that it is a short distance to the road. It is made for an outdoor kitchen with cooking facilities, an outdoor lounge and a common campfire as well as you can rent a hot tub and a small wood-fired sauna. Washing facilities in the sauna. There is space for tents and you can also rent sleeping hammocks, floating tents (wooden tents) or cabins on wheels if you prefer to sleep within 4 walls. We also have 2 camper spaces. The camp does not have electricity. The water is collected from the stream. All toilets in the area are biological. All guests can borrow a rowing boat for free (2 hours per guest) which is in a nearby lake (bring your own life jackets). There are also fishing opportunities. We have a great hot tub that can be rented by arrangement 500 NOK / 3 hours The barrel sauna can be rented 200 NOK / 2 hours.
There are many nice hiking trails and mountain hiking opportunities in Åseral municipality. You can also try mountain climbing at Sletafjellet, which is right near the campsite.
