Håvestøl nature camp is a small, simple campsite without electricity and water and is nicely located by a small stream with a nice view of Sletafjell and has scenic surroundings while being a short distance from the road. We live by nature's premises. We want to keep it simple and are not a 5-star hotel. The place is well suited for nature-loving people who want to take a little time out from everyday busy times.
There tends to be a lot of snow at the camp, so it is possible to have snow activities in winter.
The parking lot will be plowed
Sletafjellet nearby is a popular mountain for climbing. We also have a rowing boat that can be borrowed for free at the nearest lake. (2 hours per time) Lognavatn about 7 km from the camp, where you can also fish. Buy your own fishing license. Swimming opportunities in the stream/river right next to the camp. You can also use the outdoor living room in summer, where you will also find some outdoor games that you can borrow for free. Biological toilet nearby.
In summer, we also rent out sleeping tents, hammocks, a couple of small cabins on wheels, and a few tent sites. The camp does not have electricity but has solar power, so it is possible to charge your phone.
Most things at the camp are placed as far apart as possible to ensure that everyone gets as much privacy as possible.
The trailer and camp are constantly being improved, so new things are always coming. The water level in the river varies greatly. With the seasons, nature also varies.
