We have a small, simple one-room farm cabin / barrack standing still and we thought if anyone would like to spend the night in rural surroundings and like such simple cabin life on a farm. The cabin has a sofa bed, bed 120 cm. and a table with a couple of stools. Simply furnished but cosy. There is electricity and heating but no water. In the yard together with the cottage, there is a barrel sauna and hot tub that can be rented for an additional amount. The sauna and steam room have been moved directly in front of this cabin. New pictures coming soon.
You can use the lavatory for free.
A simple outdoor kitchen has been arranged in the basement with a gas burner and kitchen equipment. You get drinking water for free from us.
It's great to sit in the lavvo, light a log fire and get some warmth, a bonfire and a barbecue.

The sauna / barrel sauna has a water tank that heats water when you fire up the wood stove in the sauna and then you can wash yourself in the sauna the old fashioned way. Mix cold and hot water and pour water over you. By the way, washing in the sauna is very refreshing. And there is also a nice view over the mountain. 

The toilet is outside the cabin and it is biological/compost. (without water) 
Dogs are allowed but not on the bed/sofa.
There is a restraining order in the farm due to sheep

It is also possible to borrow a rowing boat for free in the nearest lake as long as there is no ice.
You must buy a fishing license yourself.
There are many good fishing lakes in Åseral municipality and many hiking trails.

Hot tub rental prices NOK 550. summer / NOK 700 winter, per time incl. 3 hours in the stampede or by agreement.
The rammer is filled with new water each time and heated with wood. Takes 1-2 hours to heat up. Hot tub must be ordered 1 day before.  Weather reservation with stamp. 
- Barrel sauna costs NOK 250/2 hours in summer and NOK 300. in winter or by agreement. Heated with wood. Stamp can be used when it is below -7 degrees. 
Sauna can be ordered the same day. It takes about 40 minutes to heat up and can be used all year round.
- Pålpan in the lavatory can be fired up.
You can buy firewood from us. NOK 100 big sack

 and NOK 50. small sack.
- Rowing boat: bring your own life jackets.
- It is not possible to charge an EL car.

Dogs are allowed but watch the dog outside. There are sheep on the farm

This is a farm with sheep. The cars drive back and forth, the sheep go outside and the tractor drives in between. Our children can play outside and we can have visitors. There can also be people in the log cabin in their yard and the outdoor toilet is shared between these cabins.

At the same time, there are also quieter moments and the surroundings are rural and quiet and the cottage yard itself is cozy and you are warmly welcome.
Åseral municipality is known for its beautiful nature and lots of hiking trails in both winter and summer. In winter, there are miles of cross-country trails and as many as 3 alpine centers in Åseral. The nearest ski center and cross-country skiing tracks at Bortelid are approx. 15 minutes' drive away.

tour and the hiking trails, mini golf and a roller skiing track etc.
-25 min to the center of Åseral church village with Minne cultural centre, coop shop, petrol station.
-7 min to the nearest lake where the rowing boat is.

☆Washing can be ordered for NOK 100.

Transport: If you don't have a car, you can take, for example, a plane or ferry to Kristiansand, which is the nearest station. From there you can take a bus to Evje and e.g.  bus from Evje on to Røynli in Åseral municipality, then we will pick you up from Røynlid. We can also pick up from Evje for a slightly longer stay for a small extra fee.
